So just finished LYLS. It's 03.44 GMT and I'm going to be a zombie at work tomorrow. BUT, it'll was worth every head bump on my desk. I loved the ending especially and I'm looking forward to starting sequel! This story is for anyone who came away disappointed with the the PG rated honeymoon in BD. There is no "fade to black" in this version let me tell you, and though there are a lot of lemons, the story as a whole isn't that long so they don't overwhelm you, plus Lolashoes can write like a mofo, which always helps, right? I rate this 4 stars.
Well I guess it's better than trying to sleep and worrying all night about what comes next. )

This has been on my list forever. I just hate that it's PDF so it gets pushed down.   :P

LOL! No, I have a nook tablet and a kindle. PDF's tend to have really small print & they don't always let me adjust the size, so I tend to see PDF and push it down the TBR list  ;D

The Path We Chose by BelieveItOrNot
A look at the relationship & love of Edward and Bella, two self-aware teenagers who are forced to grow up quickly. Together, they battle problems and find their inner strength. No love triangles. Fluffy beginning, drama ensues, no dark themes. AH AU OOC

yes, i was talking about this HS fic..well its not much spoiler that its about teenage pregnancy but trust me its 1 of the bestest fic about teenage pregnancy plot. There  is  NOT  any stupid drama of bella run away & come back after few year with edward baby. All the chracters are very realistic & well developed.I liked that noone is super rich here..Edward's family is middle class so Both edward-bella have to struggle to manage thier life ,education & baby.

Sequeal of this story is also amazing, which contain half HS part & half college part.Actually its very much like 1 story split in 2 part like breaking dawn. This story has 1 of bestest Emmet..generally  emmet is written as  brainless, goofy bear brother. But he is very interesting & intelligent character here.Edward is totally sweetward & amazing daddyward here.

Thanks ladies for all rec of HS fic, i will check out . :-* See there are plenty of awesome HS fics out there.

Wow, all these HS fic recommendations! I knew there was a reason I loved this forum :-*

Does anyone remember a story called Forbidden Soulmate by Emotion Masen? I only have 4 chapters, was it ever completed?

I have 19 chapters, but it's still incomplete and apparently pulled from ffn.  I know she posts on TWCS too, but I didn't check there to see if the story is there. Here is a copy of what I have of Forbidden Soulmate by EmotionMasen.

I have a record of it having 19 chapter and last being updated on the 29/5/2012 but alas my copy only has four chapters too. I must have lost the other one when my hard-drive carked it :(  (and I lost like 85% of my saved fics *wails*). I do not know if it was complete though.  It was not complete.

It's not posted on TWCS with her other fics. Was is good? I didn't read it as I must have been waiting for it to be completed. Due to the evilness of WIPs and all that.

Thank you dear! I checked and the story isn't there either... One thing I hate more that WIPs are Incomplete fics :P

I have no idea really, I just found it around my archive (which I'm currently trying to sort out, I have hundreds of fics that suck :P) and was wondering whether it was complete. Not sure whether I'll read it after all.

Same here! Incomplete stories just do my block in. Another good reason to avoid those pesky WIPs.

I don't think I'll read it either then, makes the TBR list just that much smaller (yet still wholly unmanageable).

A four day weekend for a horse race?! And the sun?! You guys don't know your born! Lucky buggers :D

Up in Queensland we don't get a four day weekend  :'( - but we do have 10 months of summer so that's a win  :13: Our summers are generally consistent - 30 to 36 degrees C (86 to 96 F) every day. Melbourne will have 16 degrees (60 F) one day and 36 (96 F) the next. I'd never know what to wear!

I do have to work on Tuesday, but we dress for the race, have a Melbourne Cup lunch, watch it live on TV and do a sweep - and this will all take place in my little country school so we might as well call it a holiday!

There will also be afterwork drinks to "celebrate". It truly is the race that stops a nation!

ps - How did I neglect to mention "thongs" in our Aussie language chat last weekend? A friend of mine from the US loves to hear how I wear my thongs to work.

Although the ones I wear to work are more like this - I'm not that daggy!

Haha! The cold days are only is we are having a crappy summer, and really only in November/December. Most of the time it averages somewhere in the 30s, but in January and February we often have weeks were it's around 40-42 (104-107) all week (or longer), temperatures that high aren't uncommon, and then there are those killers when it gets up to 45 or so (116) but luckily it's not been that hot the past couple of years. Last summer was pretty good and if this Spring is anything to go by this summer is gonna be a scorcher. One this is for sure, you never go anywhere without a jumper in Melbourne, and layers are key! So when it goes from being cold and drizzly, like this morning, to hot and sunny, like this afternoon you are never hot nor cold!

Thongs always gets 'em. That and what the yanks call 'erasers' we call 'rubbers' *snigger*. Oh and 'Fanny pack' got me when I ran into some tourists here. We call them 'bum bags' 'cause a fanny isn't your bum, it's your girly parts.  :P :D

CaraNo's latest fic is complete:

This Life by CaraNo
There's no choice for Bella and Rose when the infamous Cullen brothers choose them as wives. It's called arranged marriages and it's reality. Another thing very real is Cullens lifestyle. Meet Irish Mobward and his beloved hellcat, Bella. No heavy angst.

I have only read the start of this one, I remember quite enjoying it and then I gave it the flick for some reason; one that I suspect had to do with the fact it was a WIP. And possibly because it was a Mob fic and Edward is quite controlling (not a favourite trait of mine). But I generally enjoy Cara's fics; and I know a fair few people on here do too.

*looks furtively around and admits*  I actually downloaded some just in case I ever turn.   Um..Hi Darth ...I can call you Darth, right?  Oh no,  I can't breathe ....aaaaaaahhhhhh....  8)

If you ever give one a shot, you may love it :)

I started one last night and it's pretty good so far. It's quite a bit different from the typical J/B New Moon AU and pretty interesting so far. I'm only halfway through at this point to hopefully the second half doesn't suck lol.

Anyhow, Edward and Alice are not evil in this one. In fact

I'm glad you're enjoying it! Wait til you get to the sequel A Life Extraordinary! I've complained in the past about too many lemons but this version of Edward really, really can't perform enough lemons as far as I'm concerned! It is a very smart take on the story and I'm plowing through it with the speed of light.

No, no! You didn't just get lucky with your first story out the fic gate, there are some fantastic fics out there! The HS ones that have been rec'd on just this page are examples of the great stuff out there, download and read any of them. Knock Love Out and Mark of Beauty that was rec'd yesterday (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) I read in one sitting over the last 24 hours and they were really worth the sleepless night. Ex-Factor is what it is, but it isn't by any means the best Twificdom has to offer. Personally from where you are in the story? I think the best of it has passed but that is just my opinion, there are other member who have loved it.

Just finished reading Mark of Beauty... effing loved it  :)

Her writing reminds me a lot of Yellowglue or is it the other way around?  ;)
~No, no. I'm laughing at you not with you~

And don't forget to press "Thank You" after downloading. Someone took the effort to find it, you should thank them.
