I've read There is a Light. Loved it! but I have a question. How do you find the time to go back and RE-READ stuff? I can't keep up with my TBR list to be able to go backwards..

Umm..I don't re-read too much.  Although I'll admit there are some stories that I love so much that I sometimes go back to them if I really don't know what I want to read next.  For example, awesomesauce76, clpsuperstar and troublefollows1017 are rock stars in my opinion and their stories are well worth multiple reads.  Sometimes on the first run-through I just skim to get a general idea about a story and then, when I feel like that type of story I'll go back and read it for real.  Some stories never get more than the skim-through because they're not worth the time it would take to really read them.  I'm always astounded when people say they've read EP more than once! It's so friggin' long and repetitive.  Believe me, there is no way I'm keeping up with my TBR list.  I'm sure I have more stories than I'll be able to read in my lifetime.  The important thing is to enjoy what you're reading, rather it's the first time or the tenth.  (Although my OCD wants me to read them ALL!)

LOL! You can come visit when you come up for air  :D

On another note...I saw The Cullen Campaign rec'd on the other thread and remembered I wanted to read it, so I did my new think & added it to the shelf on my nook...the very crowded shelf, sigh....Anyway, I started to read it, never mind that I'm in the middle of 2 othe stories, and I saw she called it San Fran.  This is the first time I've ever wrote a review without actually finishing the chapter, I was so happy ;) And I'm so hoping I don't see a Cali anywhere in there. Yeah, you can tell where I'm originally from LOL!  ;)

That was me, Ella, I rec'd it!!!  :cheer:    I'm so glad it motivated you.  It's a great read!   :13:  I may have to go back and re-read it now!

I hear ya! I keep thinking I have got all of Yellowglue and Teambella's stuff and then I come across one I've missed so it automatically jumps the TBR List and every thing get pushed down some more...That's my Achilles Heel, my eyes are bigger than my stomach, as my mother would say...

Talking about enjoying what you read; I'm at the part in A Life Extraordinary when Bella and Edward are in Neiman Marcus (or Needless Mark-up whichever you prefer). Did we ever come to an agreement as to whether vampires had a gag reflex?

I'm still a newbie myself. :)   TEF=The Ex Factor.   It's a fic that some people really like and some people really dislike.  I read and read for days and finally had to stop/flounce.   I jumped over to start reading Let Your Light Shine and it is fantabulous!  ;-)

*purses lips* you are not new.... ms. expert. I know I have posted these links, but hey, we all get behind the posts sometimes. You have several choices.

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login   Here you have choices......you can scroll, click on a pic and it will isolate so you can lick and save, or hit my archive button in the lower right and there is um..... YEARS worth in there. I think I have been on tumblr for 2+ years. Find somethin in the archive you want, click on it and the post will come up. Then you can click on the pic/gif etc, and again it will isolate.

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login    this is a way to only see the pics without all the words etc. You can click on each pic and it will come up on the right. Once it comes up on the right, click the magnifying glass and it will isolate, again for your licking and saving pleasure.

The theme for this post is multiples - multiple thanks for the multiple O...my...goodness!

If I lived in the US, I would totally vote for you on Tuesday! :-*

Kimkimkim you're on the second book, yes? If so it's not too far in, around page 200? ALE is much longer than LYLS.

I'm in the negative camp I'm afraid as far as TEF is concerned.

Maybe Bella just knows this trick:
1. Bite the pad of your left thumb
2. Make a fist with your left hand, with your left thumb inside
3. Squeeze your thumb as hard as you can
4. Put your middle finger down your throat your gag reflex is gone

I can't remember how I learnt this. I'm sure it wasn't when I was young and silly.

But I'd bet that you just tried it!

Question:
Can you get electrocuted from licking your computer screen?

OK, I don't even know where to start! Crazy woman! If I told you that it's 03.52 GMT and I just woke half the house with my screams of laughter....

And yes, I did try your trick and I still GAGGED! Just as well you didn't get a 4 day weekend I'd hate to see what you'd do with the extra time  :D :D

Decided to come up for air as Ella put it, since hubs has collapsed into the bed.

Oh ladies, isn't it nice to find more hoors from all over the world? Never mind that my oldest son is 4 yrs younger than Rob. * shrugs * I may never need hormonal enhancements during the change. Hubs swears I am going to kill him.

Recommendation: DON'T setup your computer for voice recognition. I'm not sure wtf it will do with all the moans, gasps, ooo's, and ah's.

Wait...don't they sell vibes with USB connections now?  Hum.... There's a thought......

Oh wow, ok i am back. That  little fantasy was wickedly good.  Maybe I take it all back. I think I might go shopping tomorrow. :-o

4 years younger? That's legal age where I come from! Is he single?

I'm sorry.

I need to go shopping.  :(

Right now.

USB, batteries, pedal powered - I'd pretty much take anything at the moment! :omg:

You all are making me laugh so much :D

Well, I'm only 35 or so, but I found menopause didn't really slow me down.  My husband? Yeah, that's another matter.....darn it.   :-\  But he does like to help out by supplying me with useful tools.  :bunny:

And the good thing about not having kids? I can be 35 for a few more years....

G'day ladies. Such as nice day here today, just got back from my horsies. I'm all stinky and dirty so I'm gonna have a shower and settle in to read some fic.

But before I do I want to both hug and punch in the face whoever rec'ed Betwixt and Between by LyricalKris; I swore I was just going to put it on Alert, and then I read the first chapter, and now I'm hooked on another bloody WIP!!!  :021:
