I always use the Thank You button also when DL something.  I'm usually not fast enough to upload something though  lol.  I love this place and appreciate all the hard work that everyone had put into it.

I always use the Thank You button if I DL something, if someone answers a question or sometimes I use it as a 'like' button (you know, when RDMickey shares Robporn ) or just because I feel like it...

It does kind of bug me when you see an attachment that has been DL's 15 times and there's only a couple of thank you's.  It doesn't take any time at all to press the little button...

That is EXACTLY what got me thinking about this...I downloaded a story the other day it had been downloaded 98 times but there were, I don't know, 6 Thank yous? That's annoying! I'm not fast enough nor have I been on here for every long so I don't have that many "iconic" stories but still, the amount of times a post has made be laugh out loud, that deserves all the "thanks" I could give...

It's very well written, and the banter between Edward and Bella is awesome.  Very witty.  Had me LOLing in a few spots.  I totally rec this if you haven't read it yet.

You should read the sequel, too - The Best Thing I Ever Did.  It's just as good.

I enjoy most of WhatsMyNomDePlume's fics. She has some really funny ones. Lots of one shots and shorter fics; great for when you want something quick and light hearted. Another good one is:

What if Edward did not take the dramatic route and wait till noon to step into the sun in Volterra?  What if Alice and Bella were incapable of getting to him in time?  What if he was not the only casualty of bad timing and misread visions?
This story takes us down an alternate path than what we followed in New Moon.  The Cullen’s are no longer whole and Bella is so badly damaged that she may be unreachable as she closes herself off to the pain of the outside world.
Can a new love save her?  Can his voice pull her from the darkness?

The only requirement that I have is that it's well written.  Other than that, I am easily amused

I don't think she's pulled anything.  The Best I Ever Had is probably her most popular fic.  The first one of her's I read was Legendary.  Maybe you haven't heard of her because most of her stories are fairly short?  Or just because there's so many awesome twific authors that you just haven't made it to her yet?
