LOL! My spelling needs help! I use bisquick to make American biscuits so, though the spelling looked incorrect, I was frankly too tired to look it up.   

I wasn't sure if you Aussies also called cookies biscuits

American Biscuits are like our Scones, but not as light and fluffy, or as high.

In Aus you'll find a mix of biscuit and cookie used. It depends on where/how you were brought up and what kind of biscuit you're talking about.

Cookies are usually the more American types, soft and chewy, so chocolate chip cookies is common, the exception to this is the ANZAC Biscuit; it's illegal to call the ANZAC Biscuit a cookie. However when talking about drier biscuits like Oreo's, Tim Tams, Scotch Fingers, Shortbread and Tea Biscuits you'll more likely find them called biscuits. And if you are brought up like me, then you never got anything if you asked for a Cookie. In my house we were only allowed to have biscuits.

Yeah, I've heard people say that about skipping Charles, but all the experts insist it won't happen.  Though he is married to a divorcee, which is what caused his great uncle all those problems.  And? We love Harry

If only she was a Catholic, and then they'd never be able to take the throne. I don't know. He's certainly not as appealing as William or the Queen, however I don't think it will be all that bad. He's a nice guy. Let's just hope the whole Divorce thing catches up with him.

Although Camilla is never going to be Queen anyway, and I think that was/is-the-join-chat-button-a-part-of-stp because she is Divorced. She is only ever going to be Duchess of Cornwall.

See, right there, it's stuff like that; how does a scone translate to become a biscuit...what happened? Did a pilgrim get off the ship make a scone and think, "no, I won't call this a scone anymore, we'll call this a biscuit instead, this is the "new world" after all, take that Britain!"? I understand new words that are introduced by different migration languages, but different words for the same stuff? Fascinating.

There's no way that the British crown will bypass Charles, the Queen would have to rewrite the Act of Succession, which she'll never do, she lives by the Act. That is why she hasn't "retired" it's written somewhere in there that a queen or king is that until they die, you can't pass the crown on because you're old or tired of wearing the darn thing; Charles will have to suck it up til mummy pops her clogs...

There is no way to get caught up here, and I have over 500 items in my google reader! I still have to get through the Madrid, and Berlin premier goodies. Terribly busy at work and I head out of town on Tues for the holidays. I did leave early from work on Friday and went and saw BD2, two times in a row.



Yesterday......I cleaned house and out to eat, oh and I may have gotten another year older. 
Today..... Thanksgiving with my parents and my sisters family and all of mine. Tonight wash clothes to be ready to leave town on Tuesday.
