Sigh....another on my TBR list gets pushed down to the "When I'm desperate" section LOL!

A lot of times with these fics, I see it rec'd, read the first chapter, put it on follow because I don't know how good the writer is about updating, and read it when it's complete. But all I hear are bad things and the little bit I read? Doesn't make me like Bella much 

Oh well, there are still a lot of stories out there.  Including CW&IA, which I also have not read.  I'm not usually big on tattoos, but lately? Adam Levine from Maroon 5 is hot & he has a lot of tattoos....I guess they aren't so bad 

I still need to finish CW&IA....I was following along while it was a WIP then got distracted and never finished it. Sigh, at this point I'll need to start over from the beginning.

I <3 Tattward....but I have quite a few myself so I dig them, esp when dudes are heavily tattoo'd :drool:

CW&IA is a really good read. Long and lots of heartfail but I love this broken Edward and Bella.

Wild Child was good but I was getting pissed at the same thing over and over. I get the behaviour and age but I mean really *sighs* ON the upside she updated every Thursday and Sunday, not that it matters cause it's complete

I'm embarrassed to admit that I flounced CW&IA But! in my defense, I was new to fan fic at that point and was like a kid in a sweetshop and couldn't settle on anything (what's your excuse now, I hear you thinking  ). I keep meaning to go back and rectify that, as I know it's one of the classics, a bit like being a fan of Shakespeare but not reading Romeo and Juliet....or something like it, anyway...

On another note, I remember a while ago poo pooing the idea of a Bella/Carlisle fic, saying Carlisle would not do it for me as he's a "dad", not sure if anyone remembers that discussion? Well, I am now reading With The Lights Out by Cherry.Blossomz. I'm only on chapter 6 so so far it is all Carlisle and Bella and let me tell you, he's as SEXY as all hell! I'm having a physical reaction. Now, I know it's all going to get all kinds of complicated, but so far Carlisle is bring home the goods!

I didn't mind Wild Child - the only thing I found annoying was how Bella and her friends talked.
I'm British and I know middle and upper class peeps and they don't sound like that when they talk.

I hated that as well. I skipped it all the time

I thought I was the only peep that did that. 

I do that a lot. That's how I end up reading so many bad fics. I'm too curious, I need to at least have an idea of what happens.

Hey RDMickey! How's it going! 

Out of town last week for work. This week is the last week of the year for us. We shutdown on Dec 21 and restart the mill on Jan 2. So if you think I work a ton anyway, this week will be absurd. Plus, I came down with a sore throat late last night, and I am feeling kinda icky. Other than that, I am trying to stay afloat.

Oh, and I still have xmas shopping to do. It is gonna be a LOOOOOONG Saturday. I am dragging hubs with me and told him, we are leaving early and we are not coming home until I am done. Also on Saturday I have his mother coming in for the holidays.

Oldest should be home from college this week too. Have I gone crazy yet ?
