If we are on the subject of books and we have a great new link....

Try Bared to you by Sylvia Day
Gideon is smokin  :18only:

I have this too! Haven't read it yet (of course  :-[)
Both are on Tuebl.

Another site I use is You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login . It's not as good as it used to be - they got into a bit of trouble and had to remove a lot of books, though more are creeping back in.

Remember, Australia was a penal colony. It's in my blood!

My screen is snowing!!! Snow!!! In December!!! In Australia!!!

I noticed it in the dark background of RDMickey's pictures and thought something was wrong (actually I did wonder why PTS had dandruff for a moment) and then I remembered the Halloween bats.

Looks like it will be a white Christmas here at least.

:bravo_2:

ps - Eggnog Icecream - amazing! There is none left - the bowl was actually licked clean - by a 42 year old man. It was a little soft, but very smooth and creamy and just delicious. Not eggy at all.
Glad you liked it.  We were going to try the Aussie burgers tonight, but the hubs refused to buy beets.  I'll have to try it when I get back when I have time to go to the store.  Do I really have to put an egg on it?  :P

Yep! It's the law.
The egg doesn't need to be runny - more often than not the eggs are actually overcooked!

You can add bacon though, if that helps! Bacon and pineapple - mmmm!

In fact, I just read a book by Olivia Cunning.

Five stunning guys, one hot woman, and a feverish romance...

RD, i love olivia cunning too! can't wait for the next 2 books in the  sinners on tour series to come out. Have you read her sole regret series? They were a bit short for me but loved them just the same.

Also waiting for Sylvia Day's last book to come out! Oh Gideon....

Am now reading Jaci Burton's Play by Play series - about athletes. Can't attach pics here from my ipad so visit this site i go to to check out authors and their body of work. helps me keep track the order i should read their books  :)

This is yet another series I have downloaded but not yet read. I downloaded these because of the covers - body of work indeed! :NeenerNeener:

Would any of you ladies actually buy those books in a bookstore? I feel like the cover would put me off doing so, especially in England. We're sexually repressed, you see!  ;)

On a note about real books, the other day I saw The Submissive by TSM in a shop and had a fangirl squeal 'OMG I TOTES KNOW THAT!' moment, so I picked it up to look through and then saw a man standing next to me with an expression that can only be described as  >:D. Guess that's what you get for being in the erotic romance section. I don't think I've ever walked away so fast.

I've put Into the Dark by Stacy Green (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) on my Christmas list. It's an idea she used for a fic, but this has been completely reworked. It sounds creepy, though, so I'll only read it during the daytime   :D

Just downloaded these bad boys! I'll tell you if the inside is as good as the cover after I've given them a read.

No - hence my use of Tuebl.
But I justify it by telling myself I'm saving space on the shelves. Oh! And trees! I'm saving trees by not using the paper!  ;)

I would be surprised if they were! But as I said yesterday, I read to turn to brain off at the end of the day so will read just about anything.

What the hell is with the dandruff on my screen?! It is slowing the whole thing down..Shite! I just smashed another light.

I am not 13, I don't read pg-13 content, well I did, but that was decades ago. My question is what was he doing in that section to see what book you had? So it was ok for him to be standing in that section, but not you ? We have talked about this not to long ago. That is double standards.... grrrrrr

The dandruff is actually getting heavier and is looking a little like ninja stars! By Christmas, it'll be HUGE!

But it is slowing things down for me too.

I just re-loaded my e-reader. 357 Twifics and 35 real books.
*Snort* Yeah, I'll get those read in 5 weeks. :P

Totally agree. The first was better than the second. I almost even flounced the second, but Gideon is my sole reason for being there. Like most of the women characters I read, I just wanted to smack her.

I buy a lot of books....a LOT of books.  That said, some of my more favorite authors *cough Janet Evanovich cough* are now stealing from me. Really? $15 at discount for your crappy 250 page book?

So, though I still buy books, I don't feel guilty downloading some of these. Especially the ones I paid full hardback price for and now they want to charge me full price again for the ebook?  At least you can resell a real book.

*steps off soapbox* Sorry about that.  When I first got my kindle? Ebooks were reasonably priced. I bought a bunch of my favorites so I could take them with me when I traveled for work.  This was BF (before fanfic). Then Steve Jobs got involved and prices went crazy.  Real books were cheaper.  Really p*ssed me off.  Sigh... I apologize again for my rant ;)

That makes sense as my iPad as refused point blank to download anything from TUEBL....what are you using to read these books with Ella?

I agree, I've stood and bought female erotica in WHSmiths before I swopped to e-books....What I read, watch or play with once I'm a legal adult is my business  ;)

 :iagree:

I haven't been into a book store for ages. In fact, most book stores actually closed down for a while but I have noticed that a few are now re-opening - although most only have budget, cheap and nasty books - kind of like a $2 Shop for books. We certainly don't have the lovely book stores where you can lose an entire day, drinking coffee and reading! I miss those.

The nearest one like that is 700km away (if it's still open) - but I'm heading down there on Thursday to see the family for Christmas!
