Is anyone currently reading Under the Same Moon by Jen733?

It sounds good, but it's a WIP and I'm wondering if I should give it a go?
~No, no. I'm laughing at you not with you~

Hey! Can anyone reccomend any good fics revolving around a no-strings-attached kind of relationship? I found a few, but they were either more on the humor/friendship side or way too angst-y...

Talking about Angst, I HATE how some people categorized their fics as Drama, but they turn out to be non-stop angst at the end. (Does this make any sense?)
Few days ago i saw No string attached & Friend with benefit  movies back to back..I had storng urge to request some author to write fanfic based on those film.  ;)

What is your exact requirement? You say you have read fics which were more humor or too much angsty.
well i havent read much revolving around no string attched relationship, but here is few

Alphabet Weekends  by the-glory-days
Bored with their dismal love lives, best friends Edward and Bella come up with the idea of exploring the world of sex using the alphabet for the next twenty-six weekends. What happens when things go from two friends having fun to something serious? AH OOC

I read only 20 chapters, than i  flounced it.I got bore with sex after every 2 chapters.  ;)  it was too repetative for my liking. But it seems good story.you can try.

Cullen and Swan: Matchmakers  by  Ms. Jessica Cullen
Bella Swan has a dirty little secret, Edward reads word NOT ALLOWED like an addict. The two connect in a kinky, delicious way. Oh! Did I forget to mention that they like playing cupid? M for every type of perversion in the world.

Thanks for those!  :)

I started Alphabet Weekends a while ago, but never got to finish it. It is more on the "friendship" side, plus its main focus is the sex :P (at least in the beginning). Don't get me wrong, I like lemons as much as the next person, but I sometimes need more plot. Gonna try Cullen and Swan: Matchmakers.

Have you read Evading Edward by VampiresHaveLaws? That is the kind of story I'm looking for right now. ;)

and its a shame because it was so well written. i would drop everything to read it.

i dont mind drama and angst, but a fic that just leaves you hopeless. RL is hard enough, i want to have a HEA here.

No i havnt read Evading Edward..Can u give me quick summary? like about story & chracters?i may try later.

I had same problem with Alphabet weekend. It has lemon  after every second chapters..There is actually no plot of developing relationship.it just about 2 friend realize thier feeling..I lost all interest after 19-20 chapter.

I think u will like Cullen-Swan matchmaker..This EB are not  friends but they are not enemies either.just another Classmate  in highschool who become matchmaker for thier classmates & than Friend with benefit. There is actually very good plot with lemons.

Bella's first encounter with Edward instantly leads to a mutual dislike. She is the new girl in town that has attracted more than one admirer and he's the boy who usually gets what he wants. So how will one evade when the other is set to conquer?

I just got a notice from Amazon that a number of publishers lost the lawsuit against them for price fixing.  I am hoping this will mean that the prices for ebooks will go back down to what they were before Apple got involved.

It will be nice when ebooks cost less than the paperback versions again.  My accounting side says it costs less to produce an ebook than a paperback book that requires paper, printing and shipping. So I can never figure out why a book costs $5.50 at Amazon, Walmart or Target and $7.99 or more for the ebook.   :banghead:

I may actually start reading real books again......yeah, probably not...I'm pretty stuck on fanfiction now  :57:

"Real books"? What are they?  :D

My mom bought it. I tried to talk her out of it, but all her friends are reading it. She is not that fluent to read it in English. Anyway, I'm still not over it ( that my mom is reading it, yeah I'm a hypocrite! I don't want to know about my parents sex life).

I don't care that she p2p. I just thought it was badly written. And now everyone thinks that this guy with severe mental problems is the utopia of the best man in the world. And don't get me started on the inner goddess. My favorite fic of all time is Volition. I don't even like fics that are only about sex.

I read MOTU as a WIP. In fanfic land it was ok. The fact that she made no changes and is passing it off as a book bothers me. It shows that she was in it for the money and not for the love of writing *shrugs* I also don't like how she bashed her FF readers in interviews. Very unclassy IMO

Question for everyone. What was the first Twilight Fan Fiction that you read? Which one popped your "Fanfic Cherry"?

Mine was The Ex Factor by AngelAtTwilight

She DID?? S.H.I.T.E! I have to say in all honesty that FSOG bought me to Fanficland.  I read the first book and started laughing by page 5. I kept thinking "Hold on? As anyone told Stephanie Myers that someone as totally ripped off the characterization of her Twilight books?" by the time Christian started going on, and on about what'sherface's Volkswagon Beetle, I thought "OK, this is ridiculous!" and went online, did a bit of research on Google and found out it originated in fandom. "What the hell is Fandom?" I thought. And now 6 months later....So I can't speak badly of a story that opened up this wonderful world for me but I can say, it was by far not the best of what this wonderful genre has to offer, not by a long shot.

Mine was Sacrifices by Enthralled.  It is a new moon fic, "When Edward left Bella, he did so in the hopes that she would have a happy, human life. What would happen if she did just that, but it turned out that things didn't go as either of them planned? ".  Not really well known, but a great fic!
