It sounds good, but it's a WIP and I'm wondering if I should give it a go?

I started Alphabet Weekends a while ago, but never got to finish it. It is more on the "friendship" side, plus its main focus is the sex (at least in the beginning). Don't get me wrong, I like lemons as much as the next person, but I sometimes need more plot. Gonna try Cullen and Swan: Matchmakers.

Have you read Evading Edward by VampiresHaveLaws? That is the kind of story I'm looking for right now.

I just got a notice from Amazon that a number of publishers lost the lawsuit against them for price fixing.  I am hoping this will mean that the prices for ebooks will go back down to what they were before Apple got involved.   

It will be nice when ebooks cost less than the paperback versions again.  My accounting side says it costs less to produce an ebook than a paperback book that requires paper, printing and shipping. So I can never figure out why a book costs $5.50 at Amazon, Walmart or Target and $7.99 or more for the ebook.   

I may actually start reading real books again......yeah, probably not...I'm pretty stuck on fanfiction now 

They are .....um...uh...well shoot! I'm not sure ....oh yeah,  remember the original Twilight stories?  Yeah, that's what a real book is. I think.

My mom bought it. I tried to talk her out of it, but all her friends are reading it. She is not that fluent to read it in English. Anyway, I'm still not over it ( that my mom is reading it, yeah I'm a hypocrite! I don't want to know about my parents sex life).

I don't care that she p2p. I just thought it was badly written. And now everyone thinks that this guy with severe mental problems is the utopia of the best man in the world. And don't get me started on the inner goddess. My favorite fic of all time is Volition. I don't even like fics that are only about sex.

I read MOTU as a WIP. In fanfic land it was ok. The fact that she made no changes and is passing it off as a book bothers me. It shows that she was in it for the money and not for the love of writing *shrugs* I also don't like how she bashed her FF readers in interviews. Very unclassy IMO

She DID?? S.H.I.T.E! I have to say in all honesty that FSOG bought me to Fanficland.  I read the first book and started laughing by page 5. I kept thinking "Hold on? As anyone told Stephanie Myers that someone as totally ripped off the characterization of her Twilight books?" by the time Christian started going on, and on about what'sherface's Volkswagon Beetle, I thought "OK, this is ridiculous!" and went online, did a bit of research on Google and found out it originated in fandom. "What the hell is Fandom?" I thought. And now 6 months later....So I can't speak badly of a story that opened up this wonderful world for me but I can say, it was by far not the best of what this wonderful genre has to offer, not by a long shot.
