First pulled and pubbed under new names- Fifty Shades (I think).  First fanfic that I read part way through but stopped, and now have to reconvert for my nook cause my Kindle died- Emancipation Proclamation. First actual finished fic- Clipped Wings & Inked Armor.

So I just read this :

"Where do you want me, here?" he asked just as his finger pressed against my sensitive pearl. A whimper left my lips because I was unable to say anything else."

Omg!! I laughed so much!

It's true. When I was reading up on Windows 7, it said to get things started "click on the Pearl"! Now this is the image I have in my head *dies*

Wide Awake by AngstGoddess003.  I read it as a WIP but read many other fics while waiting for updates.  That was back in '09.
It is still one of my favorites.

I loved The Ex-Factor by AngelatTwilight.

There have been so many good fics.  Many of them are posted.  I think someone could read just about any fic that has been posted on this board and have a good read.   Well, except for the one where Emmett had mussels.  That one might just give you a good laugh.  And of course, the ones on the list of non HEA.

I just finished The Cullen Campaign - by belladonna1472

It was funny, with lots of snarky dialogue, and political / legal talk as foreplay.  (Not sure if f o r e play will survive the censor so there it is.)  belladonna1472 gives good reference definitions.   They were often as good as the story.

It has a family feud, with E/B becoming friends with benefits, as Alice psychs everyone around.

Much more fun than the real life elections going on now.

In the beginning I would just read AU. Edward as human? I would laugh at it.
Now I prefer all human fics.

And I actually prefer most of the fics to the original twilight books.

Wide Awake was my second fully read fanfic. 8)

I'm still real new to this, just started reading them this summer. I'm trying to keep track of what I read, but sometimes I'll find something rather short and read it in one sitting, and forget to download it and mark it in Calibre.  I'm at 9 marked as read, but I have a feeling I've missed at least 2 or 3, lol!

So, I've pulled on my Big Girls Pants and started a non-HEA, The Elusive Mr Cullen; but here's the thing, it is really well written, it has good dialogue (though Bella constant uber enthusiasm regarding her profession is getting a bit on my nerves) very good plot, interesting observation of female/male dynamics but...because I know that the ending is going to be different from any other fic I have read so far (my mind just keep chanting "how is this going to end? how is this going to end? how is this GOING TO END?!!") I keep getting tempted to flip to the end and just read that!  I'm kinda annoyed that it'll not be a surprise....From now on I'm going to mix my non-HEA in with my HEA and just randomly pick one to read....*yanking my big pants up even further*

Good luck. Personally, I hate reading stories that aren't HEA. I hope that it works out for you.

If you don't flip to the end, I think it will still be a surprise.

I think mine was Wide Awake.  But it could also have been The Ex Factor, or the Lola Shoes Trilogy.  My memory sucks  ^-^

Can someone tell me what the pairing is in The Forbidden Room?

I'm hoping it's Jasper and someone ;)
