I've been reading that all over the net today. I actually heard rumors over a week ago that he was leaving, so I'm not really surprised to see it.

I don't think Charlie would have been bad in the role, even if he wasn't what I envisioned as Christian. Still, he caught a LOT of flack for this, I heard women were even showing up on set of Sons of Anarchy to complain. I guess it's true what they say, bitches be crazy!

I doubt it very seriously if him leaving the part is going to end up with Ian or Matt Bomer taking the part. More likely, they'll end up with someone who can't act now. Guys are going to be terrified to take this part after all this backlash.

Aww, that's a shame. I did read somewhere online last week that this was gonna happen.
I always pictured Matt Bomer as CG but wasn't at all opposed to Charlie playing CG. I actually thought he was a great choice as I said when he was first announced he would be great at the sex scenes as anyone who's watched QAF will tell you that it doesn't matter how kinky the scenes are he never looked uncomfortable - which is something that whoever played CG needed.

Mind you, EL James has never made it a secret that she wanted Rob to play CG, so you never know he might get the role now.

You have got to be kidding me?! Is Hamilton still writing Anita Blake stories. I wanted to bitch slap Bella 99.9% of the time while reading Twilight; Blake? I wanted to creep up on her in a dark alley and disembowel her, slowly....f*ck a duck, that novella would have to come wrapped in gold leaf and delivered by The Pretty (in a lift) for me to want anything to do with it.

These are my TBR list, but after this post they are so my next series to read. 
I just love what you wanna do to Blake, coz it's kinda what I wanted to do to Bella but while disemboweling her I wanted to do it the Town Center so everyone could watch.

I thought they mostly could stand alone from what I understood.  Kind of like the Stephanie Plum stories.

But I could be wrong.  I bought a couple of them as real books.  And started one, but didn't get into it.  Something else was always more interesting.  (I did get them on the sale rack)

Nope they're a series. For my sins I started these ages ago as RL books, that's how long ago it was, and I kept reading and reading book after book (I have trouble flouncing even RL books) hoping they'd either, i)get better ii) Blake would get killed, horribly. I think I got to book 7 or 8 before I threw in the towel. Hamilton stopped even pretending to be delivering any kind of plot and it was just kinky animal/group s e x all over the place; it was the same book over and over and over again just with different sexual positions..CRAP!

Lemon stories are for one-shots.  Otherwise, they make a story really boring after a while.  At least to me.  I get bored with p0rn after a while for the same reason.  Foreplay is good, but I want a happy ending & I don't get it from reading/watching lemons LOL!

I actually agree.  P0rn is fine as it goes but without a strong story it is boring.  There are only so many ministrations, clit rubbing and seed swallowing a girl can take.

Of course, last night I started Grasping Darkness - 1052 pages (including the sequel)! - so HEAT will be waiting a while.

How far are you in so far?  I think I'm on Ch 5.    It's definitely wordy, but I'm loving it!

I loved Grasping! I read vampward, but he's not my default, I prefer Humanward so the Vampwards I flove have to be something really special this Edward is right up there with Britward in WTFA..
