This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Earlier I had recommended Seventeen Minutes by queenofthenile91. Luckily, I never had to go though a shooting. But, there was a bomb threat at my high school. I overheard someone talking about it at lunch. I was terrified for the rest of the day. When the last bell of the day rang, I ran out of my high school very quickly. I was very happy it was a Friday. That next Monday I was still scared, so I didn't go to school. It must have been fake because, luckily nothing happened.

I was so scared after hearing about all the shootings that happened. So, some days at lunch I would look for the fastest way out of the building just in case. I am so happy that nothing happened. Now I do the same thing in college.

Is High School Confidential by troublefollows1017 a cheater fic? I don't want to read about cheating, even if Edward and Bella cheat with each other on his dumb wife...

I'm starting to do better. I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Getting everything under control is helping a lot

My dad had to sit through the same briefings and then he would come home and teach us. Not to mention 7 years of martial arts teaching you how to be aware of your surroundings. I was always so scared about something happening. Now I'm more aware at malls/stores because now you hear about shootings there

As me and the hubby are getting ummm "re-acquainted" after me being in hospital for 12 days, normally no matter how ever ill I've been in hospital we've always been able to sneak off for some sexy time, but this time the hospital was closed down due to an outbreak of the Norovirus so that meant no visitors.

I hope that everyone is okay - Bluegeek I hope that you and bump are well.

Sorry, I have no idea if it's a cheater fic. I only know that is has to be a very slow burn. I'm still stalling to read that one though I'm quite sure it's well written and I like slow burn fics a lot. I don't like it when the HEA happens too fast and then more than half of the fic is pure fluff. I get bored easily by fluff. I crave for lots and lots of UST!

Please let us know, if you like it in case you read it!

I just finished Transcendence... thanks for all the recs! I still can't believe I liked a caveman-ward fic! It was incredibly schmexy, again, surprised about that too! The ending was my favorite part... I loved the way she wrapped the story up! Very clever! So, if you guys haven't read it, give it a chance!

Still sifting through my TBR...

And I finally got around to Pirateward! It was good with lots of adventure, and I loved the outtake, A Pirate's Wife for Me. It made the ending so much sweeter.

In the end, I liked this romantic drama, but it did take some time. It starts out with a really immature Bella and Edward is more of an @ss than simply possessive. It ends sweetly though. I couldn't find the author's profile anymore on FFN, so I'm not sure what happened. I found this story on the 152 thread.

It wasn't a TwiFic, don't worry. But I like slash pairings in other fandoms, and I know that there are some people that actually like (

) these sort of stories, but.... THAT'S WHAT TAGS/WARNINGS ARE FOR!

Are you talking about real books? If so, I guess it would depend on what type of story you are interested in. If you love Suspense, Thriller my favorite author is James Patterson. His maximum override books are not my favorite. But try "No where to run" His "Women's murder club" and "Alex Cross" books are series books per say, Not story line series just characters remain the same. "cross my heart" is a great book in my opinion kept me on the edge of my seat.

Yes, real books. Since I read outlander I started looking at books again.
But Outlander left me too raw, haven't been able to read the next book of the series.

I'm downloading some random stuff. Some I recognized from people mentioning here, like the Rock books by KRisten Ashley and Sylvia Day.

But outlander made me want to read more historical novels.
