This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Well, I found out that Emma Chase is definitely a fanfic writer but not for Twilight.

Her handle was Trulov and she wrote Roswell fanfiction.

I have never seen an episode of Roswell so I have no idea how the characters would compare to our Twilight gang. It looks like her stories were titled Tangled, Twisted and Tied. She was in the middle of Tied when all 3 were pulled for publishing.

I would love to have a look at the originals. Maybe I should start a Roswell thread.

I also just found a profile for her on Twilighted. It just has Favorited stories, nothing she wrote. =/

It's a good skill for finding lost fanfiction though.

Moving on, these are old and you all have probably already read them but I figure it never hurts to have a little refresher! Earlier this evening I was trying so hard to get into dariachenowith's BDSM stories, Heartbreak Remedy and A Beautiful Disaster. I guess I'm too vanilla, because if I've read one BDSM tale, I've read them all. So wordy. I made it through the first chapter and was really, really surprised that they just jumped right into things! Bella ended up in a threesome with Edward and Jasper, and was then introduced to backdoor lovin' without any mention of lube being offered. So rude. Then I lost interest. IDK. Most of these BDSM stories are usually just kinky lemons with a rotating plot line. I really enjoyed tara sue me's stories though. They were fantastic.

I love well written erotica and if it has BDSM, all the better, but dariachenowith...UGH! Heartbreak Remedy was my first flounce ever. It was WAY too wordy. It wasn't that the outlandish scenes were too extreme for me, but that the whole fic was just not well written. I think I got about half way through before I took a break to read The Other Side of the Fence, and I just never went back. There are too many good fics I haven't read to struggle so hard with something not well done. If it was shorter I might not have given up. (P.S. LOVED Tara Sue Me's trilogy--that was well done!)

Fluff and smut basically. It follows Bella as she graduates HS and goes through nursing school, meeting Edward along the way. No angst, little drama. It was pretty good--very light. The author appears to have pulled most of her stories from FFN, including this one. AH. Saw it on the 152 thread.

I don't mind reading lightish kink but dariachenowith's brand of BDSM makes my eyes water. She is herself a submissive and is in a D/s relationship, from what she has said in the past she writes what she knows.

I was trying to find an easier way to allow others to add it - once you download it to your computer (sync with google drive) you can see it all.

I changed my signature for the new access. The old one should still work as it opens the actual library, so those of you like Booked who search and download, the old link should still work

Of course then you will want to delete half of it!

I remember Demaris recced this sometime ago. It's on my tbr list I guess I'll go give it a whirl. I think I was putting if off because it's super long isn't it? 2/3 books??

Yes I did, and it's 3 books so it is a commitment, but, it is one of the best books I've ever read, fullstop.

So I've read my first Twific (Funny how I write that, as if I read any other FF) since forever. And it was...Sheet! I've forgotten...(quick check. My alzheimer is no longer 'early onset' it has set and buying furniture)...By Way Of Sorrow by Jaxington. I'm not a huge fan of Vamp stories but if I find a good one then...and this one was actually pretty good. The premise was interesting, which was why I plucked it from my TBR and I'm a fan of this Bella (she's kinda major) And when it ended I remember thinking ' I wouldn't mind being a vampire' which in all the years I've read Twific I have NEVER thought! So, I'm not sure if absence made the heart grow fonder or this was really just a great story but I do recommend it if Vamp is your thing..

Yes, real books. Since I read outlander I started looking at books again.
But Outlander left me too raw, haven't been able to read the next book of the series.

I'm downloading some random stuff. Some I recognized from people mentioning here, like the Rock books by KRisten Ashley and Sylvia Day.

But outlander made me want to read more historical novels.

Is this Outlander you speak so highly of by Diana Gabaldon? I'm sure it was called Cross Stitch on this side of the pond...

Nope, you are not a dumbarse. That's all that will show up due to the size. It's just with the outer folder? You can click on the complete fanfic library (or whatever I called it), add it to your Google drive (option is in top right corner) and if you have a Google Drive folder on your computer (it can probably be on a flash drive or USB drive) it will sync then next time you turn on your computer.

I've gotten a few libraries from others this way. Once it is on your drive, you have it all and can see all the folders.

The good part is? You can pause it then restart it later. It just picks up where it left off.

Yup, nice isn't it? It took a few days to do the original upload, so I ended up pausing a few times.

In the lower left corner of your computer you should see a Google drive icon. If you right click, there's a pause option.
