I didn't touch it for the longest time, because the age difference squicked me out and I just couldn't get past the first chapter. Finally got bored and was reading on my cell phone and the mobile browser on ff.net does not tell you whether stories are complete or not, so I was getting all into it and counting down the chapters thinking that the author was getting ready to wrap everything up with a bow because the end was nearing...until it ended and it hasn't been updated in more than a year and a half. LAME!

I loved shy little Libraryward in Design for Life, it's so nice to take a breather from the manwhore archetype. I swear 9 out of 10 stories I've read has some ridiculous issue over characters having a sex life before meeting one another, and it's never Bella because her legs are obviously sewn shut. So this was nice to read.

Thank you for the rec on Design for Life! You were right; it was a refreshing change to have a more experienced Bella with an adorkable Edward. I second this sweet story. AH, strong Bella, interesting drama, lots of literary realism and little angst.

12 YAS is pretty damn brutal, I agree, you do have to stoke yourself up before venturing to watch it. When I told my girlfriends/colleagues, on leaving the screening, that some how it still didn't cure my all consuming sexual attraction to Mr Fassbender they sneered. "He played a slave owner!"  To which I replied, "Yes, but it was easier to lose myself in a fantasy of licking Mr Well Endowed's face than actually watch the film!' Steven McQueen is a genius.

Lol, that sounds like me and my Edward Norton crush, I get very "excited" when I watch American History X even when he's killing the dude. 
That shower scene does me in every time as well even though he's being raped, I think it's coz he has a very biteable ass. 

Turning and back stories exist in many vamp-verses. Vampires who sparkle, drink animal blood (even though they have access to blood banks...) and are generally unaffected by time passing and adulthood... Yeah, not my thing. I have a whole essay of things to say on the matter, but I'm against ranting

A nice (and brand new example) of how I like my vampires is the movie Only Lovers Left Alive with Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton. If anyone has watched it, you'll get what I'm talking about.
