Isn't it strange? I think I'm the opposite. I think when I first started reading I was able to flounce. I know the first few fics I read were Screamers, CW&IA and High Fidelity and I flounced them all at the time, (yes, yes, yes! I flounced CW&IA and I haven't gone back! And I stand by my choices! *big sigh* Oh, SavvyB.. I have gone back and finished High Fidelity, put away your twitchy palm Leblov..) But as I got more entrenched in Twifandom I just can't do it any more...And trust me, I have way too many to ever have to worry about running out and let me not start on the number of books; I have been shown the pirate seas! (the things I've learnt on here are just...*shakes head* I have no words  )

O.K. So now i'm curious to try these fics.... and since I'm new on here, i'm not catching the abbreviation, and I don't know the authors... could you be so kind as to inform me???

It's so easy to get sucked into Twific. I've been on a massive binge since last year  Sooo many stories have been "pulled" or deleted from where they were hosted to be published so the authors can get some money for their plot ideas, but this site is so great! It's like a library of all the fics I never knew existed because the author took them down before I got to read them and now they live here to be shared and discussed.   

You just need to find some where the writing is so bad (juvenile, spag, inconsistencies in time and pov) that it is impossible to finish.  That is how I learned to flounce (although I still don't call it flouncing, I may some day return to those stories).

Same for me. Though I don't call the stories flounced either. They get the tag "To-Finish" in Calibre.  Yeah, won't happen, but it covers my bad conscience about the authors. 

I didn't flounce CW&IA, but I skimmed a lot. And I didn't really get what all the fuss was about. It is a good fic, but for me it's no masterpiece and I suppose I won't re-read it anytime. Maybe I'll give the published version a try when there's time and there's nothing left to read. 
But I had a little stroke when you mentioned you flounced High Fidelity, Demaris! Now that's a masterpiece for me and flouncing would be daring!

Yeah, I know I'm not sure why I flounced the first time round...I only read about 3 chapters or so so I hadn't got to the good stuff. I ran back and finished when Astro almost divorced me! I'm glad I did it was a really good read.

Oh sh!t!...The thought, the very thought of downloading the index is...just...yeah, I don't want to think about it! 

I didn't realize that I had left my phone in our Estate Agents office today until she rang an informed the hubby 4 hours later. 
I know that she looked at it because she kept blushing every time she looked at the hubby as I think you all know by now I seriously don't own any pics of him without Junior making an appearance and there maybe one or two (okay I confess, there's several) videos of him in the changing room at work, or getting into or out of the showers etc on there as well. 

So if ain't bad enough that our Estate Agent already dry humps him every time we see her, she's now probably gonna just leave the "dry" out of it and go straight to the humping part. 
Oh well, at least the pics and videos put something in her "bank" for later, I suppose.

I didn't know Fassbender was in 300! It deserves a rewatching! I saw the sequel 300: Rise of the Empire last Saturday and it was also as gory as the first one. Though the original had more swoon worthy men. Still, the sequel was worth watching. 

please can some one suggest to me stories centered around edward and bella being mates(like my mate by princess rachael) ......or an arranged marriage or betrothal they are stuck in and fall in love.......or like married but emotionally and physically distant trying to revive their love.....with happy endings pleeeeaase.... :)it would truly be a great hel
