This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Actually, Heineken is Dutch So I think it could be a common beer in South Africa. No idea, we drink local brews

Oops! Why do they make it seem German on the commercials. Though maybe they just say European and we assume German because when you think of beer, that's the country you think of.

But now it makes more sense as far as the author. Thanks!

Honestly, especially with the exposure of Oktoberfest and such, I think people (at least) in the states seem to default imported beer as German. To be honest, I'm not sure I don't like Belgian beer more than German brews.

So I was sneakily reading the end of Terms and Conditions Apply by TheSaintsMistress and they are at a function where Heineken is not being served. Charlie and Edward want their Heineken because they don't drink that fancy imported beer. Bwahahaha. Last time I checked? To a Washingtonian, Heineken IS fancy imported beer.

Then I checked. TheSaintsMistress is from South Africa. I guess she doesn't know Heineken is German.

I just finished that story this week and I quite enjoyed it...are you just reading the end?....I prefer Spanish lagers or Asahi, which is Japanese, perfect with sushi..

If anyone is interested, Badlands by planetblue is almost complete. Only the epilogue remains.

Wow that story was not what I expected it to be.

I just go from one extreme to the other.

I'm actually not much into beer. I prefer whisky (or whiskey as the situation requires) or wine. For the most part, if i want something that's a big name I like Sam Adams, but Asahi, Sapporo are good too. But usually I like to stick to smaller microbreweries.

You guys make me feel weird cause I don't fangirl over Rob. I didn't get the appeal back when I first saw him as Cedric Diggory in HP #4 (then again, most people my age will be confused cause of the "hashtag" I put there and forget it's also the pound sign and the number sign). Now, if we had have naked pictures of Hugh Jackman, I could totally get behind that. He's the whole reason I love the X-Men movies..... yum.

As for the candy fight, I can't pick one. I'm a sugar addict. I just ate half a box of Jolly Rancher Crunch and Chews. Yesterday it was Snickers. Caramels the day before that. I found a Fun Dip in the bottom of my purse before that..... I think you get the pictures. But I do eat Twizzlers by the pound. Anyone try the chololate ones? Man, I love those. Oooh! And pretzel M&M's! Or twix. Or Milky Way. Or Laffy Taffy. Those new Butterfinger Peanut Butter cups are good too. Easter time means Easter Egg Woppers!

I just finished that story this week and I quite enjoyed it...are you just reading the end?....I prefer Spanish lagers or Asahi, which is Japanese, perfect with sushi..

The way the story started out I thought it might be a variation of that movie The Proposal. I just was checking the end to see before I started reading it.

I like Asahi as well. Though really? I like Guiness too. Or Bass. I like dark brews like an amber boch. But mostly I'm not much of a beer drinker.

I've read 3 & 4. 3 is lighter but both have HEAs. Bella has issues in Nineteen Canvasses.

I've only read The Golden Giants Tour by walkingwithgiants. I always enjoy walkingwithgiants stories. E & B don't jump into a sexual relationship, it's low on angst, it has a HEA.

You guys make me feel weird cause I don't fangirl over Rob. Plus Size Bella? I've read a few, but usually the story always features a Bella that feels so ~privileged~ to be dating someone as dashing and handsome as Edward. Or Edward has a thing for women bigger than a size 12. Still looking for something that doesn't constantly mention size.

I just read Hands Open by Nikita2009, which was cute but Bella's internal monologue was a little annoying at times. I don't know how to phrase it properly but the writing seemed like forced humor. I flounced 1 because I really hated that Edward
I flounced 2 because it was so weird and I'm not sure its a HEA
I LOVED 3, but its not angsty
I really liked 4 and 5

The only thing that should make you feel weird should be that you don't share your stack of Hugh Jackman pics with us! We are not limited to perving over Rob, we are omnipervs...
