This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Thanks lady! I think it's the first story I've read in a while where I wasn't constantly rolling my eyes and convincing myself to continue reading thinking it might get better.

I don't know. If she says "Say it out laud" one more time, I may have to flounce. And what is "every girl's best friend, GHD"?

Well, remember the hobbit I was set up on blind date with a few weeks ago? Well my friend is trying to make up for it, and ....that is all I'm saying on a public forum!

OMG! After reading the first 4 words, my eyes widened, my eyebrows shot up and i sucked in a huge breathe in shock while continuing to read in bated breathe!

I let out a big sigh of relief to know it was not the hobbit that had the Prince Albert

In my head i was like Nooooooooooohthankgoditwasnthim.

i also follow Johnny Castle and Johnny Sins but sadly, the few attempts i've tried to make these 2 tweet me back has been futile. I'll just keep ogling their wonderful bods...which i haven't seen since the beginning of lent. I gave up p0rn, opening their photos or following their links in twitter for lent

I know many of us have now read The Bronze Horsemen, and can readily acknowledge that this author's talent for putting you away wet is probably second to none, she guts you and makes no apologises...This book, which was published between Book 2 and 3 of TBH, is a whodunit in essence but to compartmentalise it into just one genre is doing this story a great disservice. It reintroduces Spencer O' Malley the flawed, avenging detective from Red Leaves (which I loved!) and it is so, so, so well written. It's an odyssey of half truths and secrets and never quite figuring out what's lay behind the curtain. This isn't as angsty as TBH though there are moments and it isn't as easy a read, the prose is more fragmented, abstract. The heroine (Lily Quinn) isn't as instantaneously likeable as Tatiana Metanova, in fact she's a bit annoying at first, and O'Malley might not be as dashing as Alexander Belov but he is definitely the stuff romantic heroes are made of. Both these characters stake a claim enough to get the tear ducts to overflow. 3.8* A really enjoyable read...

I've read 3 & 4. 3 is lighter but both have HEAs. Bella has issues in Nineteen Canvasses.

I've only read The Golden Giants Tour by walkingwithgiants. I always enjoy walkingwithgiants stories. E & B don't jump into a sexual relationship, it's low on angst, it has a HEA.

I flounced 1 because I really hated that Edward
I flounced 2 because it was so weird and I'm not sure its a HEA
I LOVED 3, but its not angsty
I really liked 4 and 5

I read Ladder To The Sun and, from what I can remember, enjoyed it....but, you know, with my early onset dementia that could mean anything...I have the others in my library awaiting. I'm reading Paullina Simmons' Girl In Time Square at the moment. I'm making a concerted effort to try and clear my RB backlog...

Thank you all for the feed back on these stories! Looks like I will be reading The Golden Giants Tour right after I'm done with Training the Swan. Then I will set my list for Nineteen Canvasses and last I will read Ladder to the Sun. The others House of the Rising Sun & A Child of the night will be put in my "Read at your on risk" list...

Hah I had to Google the phrase and it shows in at least four of the chapters that popped up. I didn't catch that when reading. One thing that always bothers me when reading anything is when the same verbs are used to describe parts of a conversation. Anyone giggling every other second is a nut. GHD is a ceramic flat iron. I don't know why that brand was specified, because my best friend is not a flat iron.

Today was an off day for me, so I was bad and spent the entire day reading. I just came out of an exhausting romantic drama called Fate, Love and Second Chances by Nightviz.

Tragedy brought them together, perfection seemingly found between two imperfect beings. Bella is a nurse, Edward a firefighter-paramedic, both are in need of a miracle. Friendship grows into love, but a misunderstanding changes everything, and an already broken Edward hits rock bottom. Can they rebuild their lives together through the complications caused by their mistakes?

There are so many things I could say about this, only I'm pretty exhausted and need to get it out of my head. The "misunderstanding" in this story is the catalyst for some crazy drawn out angst that could have totoooooooooootally been avoided with proper communication, but we all know miscommunication is one of the greatest ways to draw out the tension in fiction! In the grand scheme of all the drama that took place in this story, it seemed really minor and just WOW REALLY? But it's touched upon later in ways that make the characters realize how they're giant idiots. It's very slow paced and I kind of liked it because it was nice to see adults taking the time to heal themselves first, before they go jumping into a relationship knowing they're not emotionally ready.

Figured I'd rec it for those of you that like angst with a HEA

As you've probably noticed over the last year and a half or so, we've been posting less and less with the last teaser post going out a few months ago.
Unfortunately, with real life changes, we haven't had the time to dedicate to fic reading and the site. As a result we haven't posted a review or much of anything for a long, long while. As a result we have made the decision to close the site down permanently and will not be adding anymore new posts.
We're also closing the Twitter and Facebook account down so update tweets and affiliate tweets will no longer be going out. We will be deleting the site posts soon as well as the Twitter and Facebook accounts so this is our official goodbye to all our followers. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us at some point along this site's life and all our followers for their support over the years.

I just asked my husband if he would get one. He said he loves me and he'd do most anything for me, but he would not get his penis pierced. Oh well...

I've been nagging the hubby since around the 3rd week of us being together to get his peen or tongue pierced (went through a phase where I would only go with blokes with this done

) and his response every time is the only "thing" allowed by his peen is me or maybe his doctor if necessary.

I shouldn't be surprised as it took me 5 years for him to get a tatt done and he now has three small ones on the inside of his left bicep (the kids names) and refuses to have anymore done unless it's another child's name.

But to me you're only just starting out if you have three but that's probably cos I've got 20 and counting.

Have always been fascinated by them. Wanted to get some on my ankle to cover my scars brought on by my allergies. I no longer wear shorts or skirts or gone swimming since 2007 as the scars really stand out bec am so white (well, chinese white

). But my doctor wouldn't allow me to as it might cause me more allergies.

I tried it with a fairly short story. It was only 187 pages. But that is on my phone. It may be shorter on a bigger tablet.
