This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Wow, you got distracted? LOL When I read it, it was all I could read for days. I read them all back to back. I have actually gone back and read the series again. It is soooooo good. You definitely gotta get back to it, then you can give your reviews of the series. LOL

I know! I nearly went straight on to the second, but I'd promised to read something else as soon as it completed, and then there was another and another and now I'm reading Grasping Darkness.

I know! I nearly went straight on to the second, but I'd promised to read something else as soon as it completed, and then there was another and another and now I'm reading Grasping Darkness.

I wish I could find someone to pay me to stay home and read to. If you manage to work out a solution for that, please do come and share.

So is the rest of the gravity series going to be the next on your TBR list once you finish Grasping Darkness?

It's definitely up there, just depends on how I feel. There are some real books I really want to read.

I have my TBR list, and a few weeks ago I started a TBR Next file on my desktop with fics and real books.

Somehow, it now has 45 titles in it!!!

And I haven't added the Gravity sequels or the Rock Chick sequels to it!

I have 8 weeks until I have 6 weeks of holidays. I hope I can make it through the next 8 weeks without adding any more to it!

Is there any way to get the fanfic downloader or flagg to just get ONE chapter of a fic?

I found a HP fic, it's 17 chapters, read the AN, and the first 16 chapters is the story, and chapter 17 is the WHOLE story, edited, updated, and expanded a bit. Why the heck she didn't just post it separate I don't know, but that's all I really want to read.

This was actually the first fic I ever read!
It was so good I got pulled into her other stories and eventually got bit by the twilight fan fiction bug. I haven't gone back to see how it reads now, but it was really funny.

I Liked the twist there, I actually read the last 3 chapter first until it made sense and then I read the whole thing.

I loved MoTU when it was a fic and I was so proud when it got published, but the drama that followed just turned me off from supporting it any further.

I'm itching to read some great witch/wizards series, anyone have some good recs? I wish there's another good witchy fic out there like Elemental.

Might have to take a look at this Divergent series that I've been hearing about.

Also, where can I find my own personal Astro? Lord knows how horrible I am at writing, my professors are horrified. $:-\$

Yeah, it's different. And let me tell you something I'm not one for trying new things and that includes reading fanfic with different format or really angsty stuff. If you don't know what actually happens there is no way that fic could ever be HEA.

My phone keeps auto correcting fic to fix, I spent a whole minute there fighting with my phone.

I'd love to know how autocorrect works on an iphone! I always thought that it was sort of ... self taught after a while - like, if you kept accepting a suggestion then that suggestion becomes the first choice.

My phone STILL changes "coke" to "cock" - and I swear that I don't often type "cock" on my phone (frustrated spinster here, remember!) - and lately, it has been changing "sport" to "snort".

"Sport" is part of my email address, so that change is a real pain in the arse!

Oh, and it suggests "cell" for "call", so when I type "Call me" I get "cell me" and that just sounds too prison-fantasy!!!

I woke up early this morning to finish G. Norman Lippert's fourth book James Potter and the Morrigan Web. It was so good. I wish there were more! Alas, he says he wants to write seven, but can't make any promises as he has a real job... But there's this larger story arc that still remains... I want to read them all NOW!

Now I'm going to take a break with some real fics before returning to my love of Twific. I'm not sure if I want to get enmeshed in the HP world. Definitely not the slash of H/D.

Ok, a couple of things this morning. First, I was reading this:

Asside from some grammar errors, it wasn't a bad story.....that is until I got to chapter 33. It feels to me that the author dragged the story out even though it was over. OMG, I was soooo frustrated

. I am not even going to finish it. I think that I will work on my song based one shot instead.
