This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

You know what? It didn't even cross my mind to think about it as anything other than a fic about Bella and Edward who weren't Caucasian *shrug* made no different to me... but then in Dusty Bliss isn't a brunette and Edward has blue eyes, in Finding My Thunder there is ambiguity about Edwards ethnic make-up, I'm not bothered about stuff like that. In fact if anyone knows of a fic where they are both Black or Asian? Or better yet, an racially mixed couple! Sent it my way! It's Fanfic y'all, it's all about shaking it up!  Though not...slash, nope, still can't do slash.....

I can do the different colored eyes - well Edward.  Because in Twilight his eyes are topaz or black.  And RPattz's eyes are blue/grey.  But the black hair. Yeah, that got me.  Brown hair, reddish, blonde highlights - all good.  But it was Jacob's description.  I don't do Jacob.  LOL! Shoot, I did slash before Jacob.   

I agree with you hun, I don't really care how anyone looks in fics - I mean I'm a bit obsessed with Pickup Truck and Bella is blonde haired and blue eyed in that and also James is a girl.

I'm waiting for PT to finish before I go anywhere near it....

I'm still waiting to be flamed for my post, I've just congratulated an author for saying they're thinking of moving and telling all their author friends to do the same..

I actually PM'd a few of my favourites to beg them to backup onto another site.   

Most of my favorite writers are now also on TWCS thank goodness... 

I guess I should check also.  But i still can not get TWCS to send me updates on my favorite stories.  Only new stories posted by fav authors.

I'm not sure Fourth Quarter qualifies as a well written story.  I wanted a football fic fix. And re-reading Nolebucgrl's stories for the 3rd or 4th time seemed, well, I should read something new.

Yes! I read that one instead - I loved it!

It was on my TBR list forever, but I kept mixing it up with the other one, so I wasn't reading it.  I think I like Collegeward more than high schoolward also.

Gah!  Am I the only one here who read Allegiant?  (Divergent #3)     I'm dying over here.  Nobody to talk to about it.   

Okay, I guess I will put it back on the list.  I just wasn't liking how it started.  Charlie was a jerk. Bella let everyone walk all over her.  And Edward was Jacob.  So I flounced.
 

It gets better, I promise...It's one time I was glad I had the flounce gene as I wouldn't have stuck with it. Did you get to where Bella meets Jacob? you'll stop seeing Edward as Jacob once he's on the scene. But Charlie is a jerk all the way thru, but that is a good thing, shake it up!

I have tried all ways and it just won't work.   

Has anyone read Tangled Up In Blue (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) found it on my Journey UP; I'm pretty near the start and it's actually not very bad...I'm holding my breath as I've read 2 not bad fics in a row in the last few days (yep! that's what makes me happy right now 'not bad' fics)..The other was Forth Quarter (Footballward You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) This one started a bit rough but really improved by the time we were half way through or so.

I used to read Tangled Up in Blue, to be honest I never really liked it at first the author would update regularly but then somebody mentioned her story on twitter and for a while it was all everybody talked about and I don't wanna be mean but I think it got to her head because she wouldn't update and then they would all be begging for an update, but then something else might of happened  .

But it hasn't updated in more that a year and in the last chapter she says she only needs three more chapters. I don't see that going anywhere
