This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

What whoop whoop means and that Aussies like beet root and pineapple on their burgers (can someone send me one?)
That we like VODKA
That even though we're "only" cyber friends we're here for each other
That if you post a video and I email the video to my husband and tell him "i want this" he will push me against the wall and take advantage of me.

The creator of the original 152 thread had a list of 152 fanfics she was willing to share.  We've continued to have the 152 number in the thread just for continuity.  When we have to start a new thread, maybe we should discard the number and make it a more generic Twilight fanfiction thread.  Or should we continue to have 152 in the name?  Give me your thoughts, please.  A new thread is not that far in the future.

It took me a little while to figure out what it meant, but now I simply find the name ironic. 152 fanfics is such a small drop in the bucket to the number of fics that have been shared on the thread(s). Looking at the index list, there are too many to contemplate counting! It's probably a nice number for a favorite Twific list though--here are my top 152 twifanfics since top 10 just won't do. When I saw another thread ask for one's top 3, I just laughed. Can't be done--not even if you had top 3 vampward plus top 3 AH.

I just finished Try and I want this Aussie- Rugby-ward!  He's def one of my favorite Edwards.  And I love Bella's fanfiction friends!  Just like RL!

I also love the 152 in the name, just for nostalgic reasons 

But a title like "The ultimate Twilight Fanfiction Search and Found Thread" would be more helpful for newbies and perhaps make for less extrathreads?

 

We can always bookmark it no matter what it's called but I'm sentimental about the "152" name. It's the first thread I found when I was a PTS virgin!

I agree with Anchalee and Avrildulac,  I like the '152 ' in the name. It was the very first thread I went on looking for fanfiction. I have no idea what the '152'  meant, actually thought that it was some fanfic slang that i didn't get.

Catching up on a couple of things:
I agree. The 152 thread is recognizable so please not another name to remember.

I think it's hilarious that we all claim we belong to a book club. My hubby does get a little put out when I spend a lot of time on the iPad. I do share somethings with him. I showed him the GQ vid. He loved that and also way back there was a vid where a camera guy got some "stuff" on his camera..he liked that too.
I concur with everyone about this site, we may all be cyber buddies and never meet but we are buds. We share, maybe over share sometimes, but it's a place to just be. I enjoy that. No dress up no pretentious behaviour just a bunch of like minded people sharing a piece of themselves. How bad can that be.

Do you have the video of the camera man getting "stuff" on his camera?     i'd like to see that.

When I show my husband something from you ladies he always want so know, "where did you get that?"
My answer: "my book club friends!"

Astro2009 must be a psychic .   On july 5 ,She could predict that something will happen in Toronto on july 8.

Between 5-6 pm we had a whole month worth of rain (about 100mm) We had no power , lots of traffic lights are out , the subway and roads were flooded = horrendous  drive home , an  hour drive took over 3 hrs. ( thank god i was at home when it happened... just before putting the meat into the pan to cook, I lost  power.. Hubby had to drive around looking for a eatery that still has power so that we could eat.
