This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Edited to add... ok I downloaded PJ from the 152 thread... there were two versions there, but I think one was just without graphics and slightly different font.

Depends on whether you want a long or short fic (PJ is short like FAP in page count, but Maybe is around 600 pages I think). I'd read both though...

Thank you! I think I want another short fic! I tend to lean toward longer fics, but FAP was just the perfect length! Loved it.

I think Maybe was one of her first fics so with Puddle Jumping you can really see how much better of a writer she's become. They're both good but everything is just much better developed in PJ-- much more depth.

I think I'm all sweeted out though. Feel like I need to switch it up. 180 degrees. I think I'm going to try some Savage now. Has anyone read Caged or Surviving Bella?

I have read both. Surviving Bella is more angsty and lemony. I should have listened to her when she said don't read the Epi........don't. It kinda ruined the whole thing. She claimed eventually there would be a sequel, but at this point maybe in the published version.

Geez you girls read fast. Some are on their 2nd or 3rd 107yroldvirgin story. I'm 6 chp into Maybe. But then again working 15 hrs today. 45 min to work, 45 min home. A bath. It just doesn't leave much time for reading before 430 am is here again to start the cycle all over.

The creator of the original 152 thread had a list of 152 fanfics she was willing to share. We've continued to have the 152 number in the thread just for continuity. When we have to start a new thread, maybe we should discard the number and make it a more generic Twilight fanfiction thread. Or should we continue to have 152 in the name? Give me your thoughts, please. A new thread is not that far in the future.

Come to think of it, my 2yr anniversary here is coming soon.

Hmmmmm..... How do i say this..... I know 3 Bronies.

. They are good friends of my son.
They are in university . I teased them all the time about watching and collecting my little pony figurines. So far i have not seen them dressing as my little pony.

. Am kinda glad my son watch one episode and didn't like it. So i don't have to worry about him dressing up as my little pony. (seeing Rob in the purple unicorn getup is traumatic enough. )

So my fourth story by 107yearoldvirgin, Eight Days A Week, is all WIN, but most of you know that because I'm late on the I- -107yov band wagon. When we finished the good Australien white wine that's currently in my fridge, waiting for tonight, we might have to try these!

A lychee martini is what I'm drinking right now - it is 5:30pm on Friday afternoon. It's not like I'm having one for breakfast!

I've attached the proper recipe but usually I make a much easier version. I used canned lychees, because fresh ones are only available around December/January.

My lazy version is: Mix 2 tablespoons of the juice/syrup from a can of lychees, 2 tablespoons of lychee liqueur, 3 lychees, a squeeze of lime (I always have lime because I keep them in my freezer), crushed ice in a martini glass, then top up with vodka.

Enjoy! I always do

Astro2009 must be a psychic . On july 5 ,She could predict that something will happen in Toronto on july 8.

Toronto on July 8 ( not sure if i attach the pics right)

Between 5-6 pm we had a whole month worth of rain (about 100mm) We had no power , lots of traffic lights are out , the subway and roads were flooded = horrendous drive home , an hour drive took over 3 hrs. ( thank god i was at home when it happened... just before putting the meat into the pan to cook, I lost power.. Hubby had to drive around looking for a eatery that still has power so that we could eat.

My physic powers didn't help me win the $20 million lotto this week!

That girl with the policeman certainly had some luck though.

Goodness! I'm glad you're ok. Hasn't it been a terrible year for freak rainstorms? I think almost all of us have been hit this year!
