This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

You'd think we'd know better by know what with already being arrested and cautioned (twice) for lewd acts in public, I'm sure next time they'll lock us up (separately ) and throw away the key.

I temporarily finished my CaraNo streak with What's Up Doc and its sequel Oh, I'll Show You What's Up. I've been on a mission to read her humor stories and while these weren't the funniest I read, they were certainly sweet and romantic (with some lemons for good measure). Sexward, docward, daddyward, it's all here. I'm fairly sure you can never really fail with CaraNo based on the few stories I've read by her so far. For funny though, I'd still go with White Picket What? which I floved.

Free spirited, always happy, and sorta potty mouthed Bella arrives in Forktown. She's the new receptionist at Cullen Whitlock Pediatric Care. She really wants Dr. Cullen. Oh, he wants her, too. But first, let's get rid of Jane. NO ANGST.

You ladies certainly are interesting.

I've started to read Controlled Burn and it's taking a bit longer than I had imagined to get to E/B developing, etc.

I'm wondering if any of you share in my predicament of incessantly comparing a fic to a favorite and never truly being satisfied. I feel this way with Wide Awake and High Anxiety. They were the first fics I have read and the only ones to have really stayed with me. Everything else since they has just been a notch above eh.

Anyone else feel this way? Am I reading he wrong fics? Is there such a thing as the "Bible" of fanfiction that some get close to but never quite reach?

I had the same problem after I read Wide Awake... I felt like nothing could compare to it... I wasn't invested in new characters the way I was invested in WA-BxE. Fortunately, after a couple of duds I found a couple shorter fics that turned out to be really good and got me out of my funk. (107yov's Puddle Jumping & FAP)

I guess I need to read High Anxiety soon.

PLeeeeaasssee God, make her finish this one already! i didn't realize it was a WIP when i read it august of last year. One of the reasons why I avoid WIPs like the plague...

Note: Yikes! 29 Dimensions was started in Jan 2011 and only finished now?!?! Wahhhhhhhh!!!!! $:-\$

I hope she sticks to her promise of only a few more chapters left for Me and Mr. Cullen and that she posts those within this year

Just finished Thief by Tarryn Fisher. If you guys haven't read that series you are missing out! Keep in mind it's not a typical romance... it's more of a crazy ride of emotions. She is an amazing author and kept me guessing throughout the entire series.

Now I need something light and fluffy to read... Preferably with a nice hefty dose of lemon. Any suggestions?

I read this last night (it's only 4 - longish - chapters, and it is really lovely. Such a sweet Edward, a horrible Alice and a realistic, non-annoying Bella.

29 Dimensions must have been marked as complete for a while because I have it listed in my Read fics - and you know I don't do non-completed fics! I think I read it during 2012.

I don't really remember it (I need to start taking fish oil capsules or something - my memory for names is woeful!

) , but it must have been good enough for me to scan Me and Mr Cullen and put Catastrophia on my author alert list. I'll have to do a speed re-read so that the second epi makes sense. I know as soon as I start reading, it will all come back to me - at least the non-name part of my brain is still good!

I have been such a lurker to this wonderful discussion and I finally wanted to come out of lurking and say hello. I now have soooo many TBR that I have added to my list from this great place. I know you have all been around here for awhile but if you are looking for another crazy obsessed fanfictioner to add to your group please count me in. I just finished the nightingale journals and I loved it. It may help that I am an RN who works the night shift. I am almost done with Fridays at noon but having a readers block with Edward's issues and I can tell it's his almost new moon moment. Instead of finishing it I have been obsessed with the talking dirty Edward contest. So much fun!!! Ok sorry for babbling. Hope I am not a bug and that I can join this group of sex minded, fun loving, fanfic manics that you all are

I am from USA, Southern California. I am 5 ft 3 in, with a 38DD. Yes my hubby loves them, but he says he loves all sizes. I used to be a 34B before I had 3 kids. Shoe size 6 1/2.
