I read the original posting, before it was removed, and then edited and reposted in her blog.

It is not one of my favourites of her fics. Actually, I don't really like many of her "serious" or "angst" fics - I really love her lighter, fluffier, more humorous stories, but when she does the more serious ones, I feel that they all kind of read the same - even the lemons seem repetitive, and I find that they sort of have a wanna-be BDSM feel to them.

I haven't read any Carano for a while, so maybe it's time I give them another try - I'm sure that she has grown as a writer.

I did early on in my fanfic days and hated it...I have read other CaraNo since then though ( Close Your Eyes, Second Page, White Picket What? ) and found she's gotten much better since that story...

This has not been confirmed, and won't be until the judging is announced. The way these contests work (I'm learning) is that they have a "secret keeper" who is the only person that knows the ID of the author and which fic they wrote.

If it is her I would not be surprised, that li' lady is Kick Ass! And you're right LL you recing her story to me did break my complete ban on all O/Ss, I'm more likely to give them a try now, though very, very reluctantly

I've read stories about alienward with four fingers and a tail, I've read one where Bella gets pregnant by a ghost/spirit I've read some weird shit in all my years reading Fanfiction. But never have I read something as bad as this.

I'm not trying to be mean, but holee shit this is bad, not only is it really bad it's just not believable... it's like she added things just to keep it going and just drama all around, I didn't even read it I just skimmed it.

This is just bad. The spelling is bad, the sentences had words missing.... like they were incomplete.

Okay-I'm done criticizing.

I've read the first couple of chapters that she has posted so far and I'm enjoying it.

What did you think? I thought it was just okay. I'm glad she pulled it from the DTE contest as I don't think it fit there. I think I was disappointed more because I kept expecting the plot to go somewhere that it didn't. While the words are written well, the plot itself felt thin. Was anyone else disappointed?

Thank You LL. Yes he is doing great, getting to stir crazy with being on activities restrictions. If I hear one more time how it is not fair that he can not go out and practice soccer or that he has to miss a scrimmage or practice with his 2 teams I am going to scream LOL

Not so much disappointed, but I not fangirling over it like I am with Thief of Hearts right now. These Hearts Ado was well-written, beautiful prose as you'd expect from YellowGlue, as well as everything else she does so well - lovely Edward, plenty of booze and pot, etc, but you're 100% right. It really didn't lead anywhere. It was obviously a one-shot for the Dirty Talking Edward contest.

Don't get me wrong, it's worth a read, and it's a nice easy, not too long read, but it's not a 'drop everything and read this right now' read.

Her story's summaries always look like something I would want to read. But between the SPaG errors and childish writing, I'm disappointed every time. She really needs a good beta that can write. I could fix the SPaGs. But not the rest. It's really too bad. But she is very popular.
