Thanks for all the comments ladies. I always seem way behind what is going on. 
I am lucky to read something a month after everyone else is already done.

The author has responded to my review I posted of In The Flesh, which I loved by the way. I reviewed under her, although I had reviewed in the contest. I was surprised to get a response.

Someone recommended I read a one-shot of yours, so I added to my fav/follow. When I click on what else you have written, right off the bat I see In The Flesh.

To me this stood out in the DTE contest by a long shot compared to the others. I didn't know you withdrew it, because I had already read and voted. I am curious as to why, but thankful you posted elsewhere and ecstatic I found the story again.

I already have several wips I am reading and while I wait for updates, I read a completed one. Looks like I need to read your entire story uploads!! When I look at the stories I am following, I see your name many times. Looks like I need to do something about that !

Hello!

The reason we pulled is because there was a questionable review under another entry, calling out the alleged author of the fic by name, accusing her of cheating, and also insinuating that the entire contest was fixed in general.

We were wary of being associated in a contest with other contestants if there was cheating involved, so we asked to have our fic removed.

Whether or not the contestant cheated is yet to be revealed. I guess we'll see when the winners are announced. We made the mutual decision to pull, because we both feel like winning is not as important as doing the right thing.

I'm so glad you enjoyed our fic, and hope you check out any of our stories! Thank you so much for your kind words!

So in the end. Again it sounds like drama. I don't care who did it, who didn't do it, just immature childish things. I think we have all mentioned it is exactly why  we love it here. It is what it is. We don't create drama and everyone can have a different opinion on something and we will just agree to disagree and move on.

I can say that I never sought for her to respond, I truely was excited to find it again, especially since I didn't know it was gone off the contest.

I feel extra special when I do get responses to my reviews. Do I review every single chp of everything I read. No. Sometimes I just don't know how I feel yet, without clicking that next button and reading one more chp. I tend to respond to content, not structure. If structure makes me cringe, I usually just flounce. My responses can be as simple as GAH. or OMG. I tend to state what I feel at that point in time. Maybe that is not what it is for, but that is where I have just kinda revolved to.

In the end, I want something that is good. Something that holds my interest. If its good, its good!!

I'm with you hun, I think I would even do the whole scrunching sh*t thing we talked about on here, coz for god sake it's the Pretty after all.
As for the gloves, I would need my thigh high boots and whip to finish the outfit properly.

I only skimmed this when it was a WIP as I'm following so many so I can't wait to read this properly now it's complete.

Does anybody here have the problem where they add a story to their favorites/alerts and they don't really get added. I've lost so many favorites that I think I add but they are never there and then I freak out because I think they were taken down.

This happens to me at least once a week, now this story Marley's mother I added it when it was 6 chapters and I always wondered if maybe it was forgotten but I never bothered to check, now it turns out it's complete.

Anyways, thanks I'm gonna go read it now.
