This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I'll have to check these out next. Through the Flames is my first Firefighterward and I'm really loving him! I love the slow burn (no pun intended) between Edward and Bella is this one.

I can tell by your avi you're a fan.

Which is your fav firefighterward?

I would have to say Cooking with Fire and its sequel. I also loved the slow burn between Bella and Edward in Through the flames. Stop drop and roll was okay but if i remember correctly bella was a bit to needy and clingy for my liking, I prefer a stronger bella, like the one in The Gravity Series

I am a fan of any Uniformward or any Man in uniform to be honest.

I flounced Breakaway Bella-- I thought is was annoying juvenile and I hated bouncing, clapping, stereotypical Alice. I also flounced The Geheime Vernietiging-- it wasn't as good as I expected and there are too many great fics out there.

I really like ToH and am currently reading Through the Flames by SparklingTwilight. A really well written Firefighterward. Lots of depth to these characters, written in third person.

One fateful night, 29y/o Edward must make the decision that haunts every firefighter's worst nightmares. In choosing between his life and that of another, life altering repercussions arise. Rated M. Contains graphic descriptions of fire. HF Warning.

Through the flames is amazing. I'm not one to reread and I think I read this one maybe 3 times. Very realistic.

How come when I get pulled over for speeding, the officer is always old and not so hot. Sigh. Life is just not fair.....

I feel for you. Even the fireman, I see these calendars saying " HOT NYC FIREMAN" yeah right, where the hell are they hiding them? Cause these frumpy dumpy ones sure as hell do not resemble those pics

Hmm ok maybe i am being a tad over critical (cough cough jealous) but the one of them at the piano, is not the most flattering picture of her.

I read this and when I was in chapter two I think it was...? I'm not sure but you realize what the plot of this story is going to be about.... I also realized that no way in hell a story like this in real life could have a HEA... unless you had a lot of angst! But guess what.... this is FF and there wasn't a lot of angst... like really there really wasn't any.

That being said, I still was reluctant to read it because

I know really! It is totally unfair! Firemen should all be hot. I mean they work with fire right? And they are supposed to be good with um putting the fires out?

Okay, maybe bad example as the firemen I've seen would definitely put a fire out before it even started.
