I didn't see her "performance", but I did see enough gifs on buzzfeed that was enough. And what is the deal with her tongue hanging like a dog?

I never watch VMA or the grammy, rarely the bands/singers I like are there.

As for lady gaga I'm just wondering why she isn't walking around naked already. Cause wearing lingerie everywhere is getting boring.

I used to love the movie awards.... The beginnings were the best part but last years was bad... Really bad. And this year I didn't evn bother.

I liked Taylor Swift's reaction... I saw something on Buzzfeed about Mily's performance... I'm on my phone so I don't have the link but it's funny.

Does Sleep on the Floor have an HEA? I'm reading the third Bronze Horseman book right now and after this I'm going to need nothing but fluff!
You guys have me wondering about Thief of Hearts now... Is there an ExB HEA? I'm trying so hard to keep my TBR list under 50 but you guys are making it difficult. Think I need to add this and the Cullen Legacy!

Maybe you should try to make it no more than 50 authors!

I actually have a bunch that I will never read, but I downloaded them because it is easier to download a whole page and, well, someone might want to read it even if I don't.

I have a confession to make: I'm a lurker. Since about 6 months I'm a constant lurker in here. I read every post in #3 and I'm catching upd with #4 (at page 50 of the thread at the moment).

So, I have the strange feeling of knowing you, but nobody of you knows that I'm lurking, cracking up with you, lusting after Rob with you and grabbing your fic recs greedily on a daily basis.

But today happened something: FB suggested Astro as a possible friend for me although we only have 8 friends in common. And I simply couldn't resist to send a friend request because I thought "Hey, that must be Astro from PTS! I know her and her posts on PTS are sooo great!" Imagine a little fangirling here.

But that was also a sign for me to gather my courage and step out of my lurker closet here.

I'm female, 34, married, from Germany (Bavaria). The dictionary says my profession is called "law (enforcement) officer". Let's just say I work at the district court.
When I'm not working, I'm reading. Mostly Twilight fanfiction.
And I'm a big hoarder. A Twilight fanfiction/book hoarder.
My Calibre library contains 2994 files at the moment. Only 170 files are real books, the rest are fics. And counting...
I LOVE Calibre and I love not only reading, but also organizing and tidying up my fics and my e-book-reader and sharing my fics/books with others.

What else?
Rob gets me all hot and bothered and I simply can't get enough of him since about 2 years now.
I love his pics, movies and his interviews, especially the early ones. He always manages to brighten my day and make me smile. Rob's word vomits on Youtube cheer me up without fail on a shitty day.

My hubs knows about my ff and Twilight addiction, but I'm mostly in the Rob closet and plan to stay there. I don't want to share Rob with my RL friends.

Fic-wise I'm an angst h00r, but every now and then I need something fluffy and light to ease my mind.
One of my very first fics was JoFicFreak's Edward Cullen, Dick For Hire.

It made me realize that I'm also a slash h00r and that's also the only fic that I actually re-read completely.
Normally, I'm not a big re-reader because there's too much new stuff to read.

I tend to flounce a lot lately because it's hard to find a fic that holds my interest until the end and I have the feeling of wasting my time when there's so much more to read in my library.

I enjoy a good Non-HEA, but found only very few so far. The Elusive Mr Cullen was one of them. I'm an Edward girl. I don't shy away from non-canon, but it should have Edward in it. And it's very hard for me to find a Bella to like. Maybe it's so hard because I picture mostly KStew in my mind. *cough* It was very refreshing for me to read Dusty where I couldn't picture KStew but was forced to imagine another Bella.

I'm also a big fan of J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood, especially V and of Lorelei James's Rough Riders Cowboys. Anyone in here familiar to Lorelei James? Holy smoke, her cowboys are hot!

At the moment I'm reading Edward Wallbanger and though it's not angsty so far, I'm enjoying it a lot and it could probably make it on my all-time-favorite-list. It's been a long time since I laughed out loud or grinned widely while reading a fic.

I was reading real books again, but I seem to have fallen off the Jasper wagon, with my third fix today. Fic damn auto correct!

I'm always looking for stories that give me that first love feel, so I'm picky. I need another Wide Awake or Colliding Meteors. Right now I'm kinda quietly boo hoo-ing through First Love Lost by oracle vas. I feel so bad for Bella, not knowing why or if everyone hates her.

And you are a very great bunch here with exactly the right amount of nuttiness. Otherwise I wouldn't have felt the need to end my lurkerdom.

I haven't tried any BDB ff. I'm not opposed to try, but somehow I'm so immersed in Twilight ff. I'm in constant fear to miss something great if I don't read Twilight fics.

I only make short trips to original fiction and return as fast as possible to Twi fics.

Thankfully I found J R Ward and Lorelei James before Twi ff. I never would have read them!

Would you like to rec some Vutch fics to me? (Maybe per PM since this is a Twific thread? Not completely sure about the rules...) I might try! Oh my, I'm scared. I sense a new addiction. I'll have to determine rules: Monday is Twi fic day, Tuesday original fiction day, Wednesday Vutch day, Thursday Calibre day...

No, I'm too chicken to touch a German Twi fic. I can't imagine it to be any good. Since I started reading Twi fics I stopped reading German books or literature altogether. The last German book was probably one of the BDB books and the translation is horrible. Once I discovered this I made sure to stay away from translated books. German is always so...awkward and stiff.

I stopped reading translated boks a while ago, the translation can be very bad

But after reading Twilight I found in another forum a link to a continuation of Midnight Sun, in German. Not bad.
And from there I found my way to fanfiktion.de and I've read there a lot before I found fanfiction.net. I haven't looked back.

There are good ones, but more bad ones. Especially when writers don't bother to actually get their facts straight. I mean, can you really have a nice morning run in Alaska, on a sandy beach in December?

And I like to read non canon fics and they are rare.

In this thread, I use it like the "Like" button and press it whenever I like a post.

In the 152 thread I use it to thank the uploader when I download something. That helps me too, because so I know when I have already downloaded a story...

I actually just deleted my real life FB account but I signed up as Astro to feed my fic addiction. I have no idea how to use FB and rarely post but it's another way to stalk my favourite writers. I probably just lurk over there!

I don't know about everyone else, but I make sure that I always use the Thank You button anytime I d/l here, and I also use it to say "I agree", "I like", "This post made me laugh" or "Hey, I'm here but don't have anything to say at the moment".

I don't think you can overuse or abuse the button - when you get a few more posts up, you're status will change from PTS Member, and when you reach a certain level (I think newbie, addict, etc are some of the levels), you'll get karma buttons - basically a thumbs up and a thumbs down button - but you can only use the karma buttons once on a particular person every 24 hours. Some of the girls here have been given a thumbs down, but we think it was more likely thumb slips on a phone rather than a dislike.

Because Booked is still busy with work, I will ask the important questions that you missed in your introductory post:

Height? Shoe size? Bra size? As a lurker, you'd know that there are a few other questions that have been asked too.

I tended to lurk on FB in the beginning, but it's really easy over there to get included. I stalk my fav authors and met really really great women too.

As to the questions you asked: I deliberately left these infos out. TMI, you know...I didn't know how you would accept me. So in the worst case I could disappear without leaving my bra size here.

Height: 1,67 m (the ultimate average woman)
Shoe Size: Hmm, it's 37 or 38 here in German, so that would be a 5 or a 6 in Australia (says Auntie Google)
Bra Size: 75 B in Germany, to clarify: they are small...like a handful. Unfortunately not enough for Rob's hands though.

Most of the time I'd love to have big boobs, but they are what they are. Hubs likes them a lot, that compensates...
