This wasn't bad, actually pretty good, with unexpected unrealistic twists. The author did good in keeping her secrets, I never expected those twists, but it all lined up well.

And no, I haven't read them all in the last days, but they were on my list "what I have to tell my girls about!"  and I finlly took the time to write them down.

With dropbox, the more people you refer, who actually install it, the more space you get. So if you have multiple computers and email accounts, you can add more space that way. I installed it on my hubby's computer, (I need to do it on my daughter's too) with his email addy and got more space. Plus, referring friends helps too. Tweeting about it, liking it on facebook.

So I have a bunch of email addresses.  It turns out, if you have multiple users on your computer, you can have a dropbox account for each user.  It is not hard to create user accounts.  Anyway, just a thought if you are trying to get more space.

Dropbox and Drive both auto-detect my calibre adds, because I have my calibre library set up in those respective folders. Whenever I add a book or fic to the corresponding library, they automatically update. Is it possible you don't have your library/folders set up just right?  Mine is my documents/(or my computer)/Dropbox(or Drive)/Calibre library.

 Dropbox works the very best for me, sometimes with Drive, a fic I KNOW is there, doesn't show up on my tablet app to download, and I have to close and reopen Drive on my computer a couple of times (sometimes I even have to restart) to get it to show up. It's like, the folder will be there, but the folder is empty.

Okay, I just got an additional 48 GBs on Dropbox by going through their "intro" thing, sharing a folder (with myself using a different email address), sending an invite to myself at a different email address, installing dropbox on my computer, installing it on my phone, and putting files in a folder.  It was pretty easy.  I now have 52 GB - more than enough for my Calibre libraries.

I'm wondering if I share my Calibre folder, does that mean others can change it? I'm thinking it might be worth doing that to share here.  And the potential of getting all the metadata fields filled out in a collaborative way.   Okay not all.  I'm sure the TBR column won't be the same for everyone.

The 15 GBs includes your Gmail account. If people send you big emails with attachments? You can use it up - okay half of it up - quickly.  Mine shows 49% full from email.  And there is no way to easily delete the old stuff. With 3 computers, I don't have it delete right away. 

But the amount they are giving away free? Has gone up a lot. 6 months ago it was only 5 GBs. 

That particular Gmail is just used for ff.net, so I get no attachments there so no worries about filling it up fast that way. I thought I remembered it being just 5 GB!

Does SS do the referrals for more space thing? If so, drop me a link and I'll add it and try to get you more space. I've never tried SS before, might as well help a buddy out if possible.

I just added 1gb to Dropbox by linking it to my ipod mail app, so I'm up to 5.2 gb on dropbox. I have 15 GB on drive, no clue how I got that much though, lol!

I wonder if you had received extra storage with the purchase of a computer/gadget? I know Samsung was offering 50 gb for qualifying phones/tabs (of COURSE mine via Verizon did not qualify) for a year I think. Which sucks because after that year you'll have to move a bunch of stuff out.

Right now I have 7.38 gb in dropbox but a few of those gb will disappear in the next year or so b/c they were promotional with a phone I got.

I just deleted over 6000 emails from gmail today to free up space. And it took forever because they're all over the place. Inbox, spam, different categories, All Mail and then you have to go and perm. delete from trash.
