I hope you can flounce this one.....

NO! I read the whole thing! (stupid no flounce gene!) The story was so bad, the plot so implausible that I wanted to know how she was going to round it up, it was car crash twific...in the end she gave up...no word of a lie, the epilogue A/N says:

I have decided to finish this story, I know it's sudden and I apologise, but it is just going on and on and it will soon get boring. I loved writing this and I will continue writing, but this story needs to end. Thanks so much for the love and support.

I'm not sure if this is her first story but unlike Patty's first foray I can see no glimmer of hope she's going to get any better....If anyone has read her other story and can say otherwise I'd be really,really interested to hear....

I love that I can read the first chapter and last chapter and be good.  And really? Though I say I don't flounce? I do.  I know if I go to something else, I probably won't be back.  Even though I tell myself I will.  It will never happen. 

Okay, that's not true, I do go back from some stories.  Just not the boring ones, or badly written ones.

I know! I was right in the middle of a spreadsheet when it kept refreshing the screen and the mouse quit working.  I'd swear it had a virus, but really, it's just getting warm and the network is getting slow.  The combination results in a very slow computer that won't let me do anything. 

I finally got it to copy some files to the server so I can work on my home computer.  Thank goodness for the virtual network....

I've read it some time ago.
Definitely not one of my favorites.

I didn't care for any of the characters...

Good thing you can work from your home computer. If our computers at work go down it feels like the end of the world. It makes my job a million times harder 

I know what you mean about work computers.  I returned from holiday last week to a whole new windows based system.  After working for the past too many years on a green and black it was a serious shock. 

Everything I did automatically no longer worked and you have to use the mouse constantly.  It has added hours to my work week and that is after I can finally log on.  Bloody I.T. trying to fix things that aren't really broken!

On another note, as I know it pissed a lot of you off - my Daughter has had a really good start to her last year at primary school and is enjoying it so far - she is a lot more confident in herself and her abilities and has the backing and permission from myself and my hubby to kick the sh!t if necessary ( not likely, but, I live in hope!)

It's getting better. Getting some reactions out of Bella.

I have been reading all of these posts about cloud and metadata and backups and just thought I'd add my two cents to this fascinating discussions on technology...

Duh... I like pretty pictures!

Lol, I was exactly the same and then looking at this pic I totally forgot everything that I read anyway. 

I haven't tried those, if it doesn't get better in a few weeks, then I'll have to figure where to get one in Austria.
   
We are planning on telling people soon, so at least I will now have a reason for why I don't feel good.  (Yes I told the book club I lurk in before I told people in real life)

I know how you feel as this pregnancy I'm still suffering from bad morning sickness even though I'm 17 weeks - it doesn't seem to be letting up this time.
But my other 3 pregnancies I found dry crackers or rice cakes seemed to help.
I know they're not that appetising but it might be worth a try.

Happy to hear she is enjoying school again. Hope the bully/bullies learned their lesson and won't resort to their old ways.

Hopefully, the entire incident will make your daughter stronger and build her character even more.
 

OMG!  Jesus H Christ! Why would you tell me that? Does it count as flouncing if I don't read the sequel, because if that's the case then I have just flounced my first story, there is nothing on God's green earth that would make me go back into that putrid piece of crap..

What more the author can say when she flounced her own story I have no idea!   BTW Did you at least also skim the story?  isn't it?

It's not the worst I've read (need I remind you of pink-tutu-wearing masturbating Charlie?) but yeaah, it is a pretty big pile of steaming 

I'll skim the sequel and let you know what you might be missing
