That's me.  I was really young when Clint was making all the spaghetti westerns that my father loved.  I remember drive-in movie theaters where I hung out on the playground, with a Clint Eastwood western on the screen.  BORING!  But my dad loved those films.

My Dad was a massive fan too.  I remember being terrified of that pocket watch!

He also pre-ordered Pale Rider at the video store and we were not allowed to speak or move whilst it was on.

Where are you looking for HP fics?  There is slash of course but there are whole sites deciated to Hermione and someone other than Ron, even FF has 1000s of non slash HP fics.  I can honestly say some of the best fics I have read have been from the HP fandom.

The improvements to HP as far as I am concerned, centre around Hermione finding a better partner than Ron  :P and Snape getting a better deal but since the world of fanfiction can present wonderful AU stories, there is always something different to read.
I just see it on FFnet.  I don't really like any of the characters enough to want anything else for them I guess.  I loved the stories and the movies are enjoyable, but I don't really want to know anything else about the characters.  I mean, I wouldn't mind if Hermione had someone better. But with the available characters? No.  And really? It is hard to picture them grown up enough to be in a relationship....

Now, I wouldn't mind a good Stephanie Plum story or maybe some of Meg Cabot's characters.  But other than one that never completed, all the ones I've read are just bad.   :-\

He looks the most like his father from the side - his profile.

Yup.  4 times when he visited his dad on set.  3 times he had scruff and once he was clean shaven.  I liked him scruffy better.

I never thought CE was hot.  I was too young when he was popular, and when I got older, he had aged a lot.  The first time I saw Scott, I had a double take "WHO'S THAT??" moment.

Do you ever hook up with these hotties?

My husband loves westerns, and actually, my brother too - must be a guy thing.  So I've seen a few when Clint was young and hot, with that whole tough guy thing going on....  yeah, I could see it.

I usually read while he watches and just look up occasionally to watch a gun fight.   :P

That they are all gay. Slash doesn't turn me on. The opposite actually. It kills the fantasy.

Cause obviously I would meet Matt Bomer on a coffee house and he would look at me and recognize me as his soul mate. And we would live happily ever after. Lol

But seriously, I was thinking more like they are all a.s.sholes.

My dad as well.  The only other time, other than in my parent's wedding pictures, I've ever seen my dad smile that big was when he met Clint Eastwood.

No way, Jose!  I will never ever ever EVER ever ever date any one famous.  They live in a different, crazy, and somewhat messed up universe and I'm perfectly satisfied with mine.
I would rather cuddle then have sex.  If you're good with grammar, you'll get it.

Since I'm probably too old for most of these guys? The fact that they are gay doesn't bother me.  A.s.sholes however? Yeah, I can see that would be a turn off.   ;D

Thanks Booked. Wow non FF fans are missing out on a wealth of new words added to the English language..I'm a Harry Potter and the fiery depths of hell shipper!  :D :D :D Sorry! I just can't bear those books.... :D :D :D

I loved the books, but they are so well written, I can't see how fanfiction can improve upon them.  Also, I'm really not into M/M and most of the fanfics in HP seem to be Harry & Malfoy.   :P

The thing with HP is the first two books are written for children and it shows, by the time you reach the 4th book (my fav) the whole thing becomes darker and more intense, appealing to the older reader.  Anyway, how can you not enjoy witches, wizard's and magic?  :)

I only read the first one but couldn't "get into it". of course, being a movie buff, have watched all the films. I specially liked the guy who played Cedric Diggory...little did I know he would grow up to be even more hot!  I was sure disappointed he died, was hoping a magic spell will bring him back later on but sadly, that was not the case. instead, he was resurrected as a vampire, and boy was I happy!  :)

Guess we were never really into Westerns in my country. so the earliest i can recall of Clint was the Dirty Harry series and Every Which Way But Loose (with the oranggutan). I thought he was a tough, handsome guy. Oh, to this day, I still sometimes say "Go ahead, make my day"  ;D

Now, dang it, your comment about your dad wanting to meet Clint has made me recall a fic wheree Charlie would do anything to meet Clint so Emmett tried to pull a practical joke on him together with Actorward....i've read so many actorwards i can't recall which one it is... ELLLLLLAAAAA, help me out! was it Virgins and Villains?

That brings up an interesting question.

How many other hotties have been created by famous parents?

I know Chris Pine (son of CHiPs' sarge Robert Pine) is one
Alex Skarsgaard (son of the great character actor Stellan)
i think Robin Thicke is cute (son of Growing up Pains' Allan)

Edit: warning, some of these guys are now old (older than me) so they may have been hot during my time (love Robert Downey, Jr. more now!) some are not hot for me though, they're just famous  ;D (the 1st two above are not in the list!  ???)
