This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

I read You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login this week and just loved it, and I also read You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login. I thought this would be just a trashy series, but I really liked the first 2 books and this third one was awesome! They could be read as stand-alone books, but characters from the previous books are mentioned.

My plan is to spend the next 2 weeks reading fic and watching Breaking Bad - all 5 seasons!

So is Rock Chick one that you'd be happy reading as a standalone? Or do you really need to read the whole series at once? I guess I'm asking if it has a cliffhanger ending.

Each book in the Rock Chick series is a standalone book about different couples, so you can read them out of order. Reading them in order just gives you a familiarity to the group dynamics and lead-ins as to whom the next book may be about. No cliffhangers in any of the Rock Chick books.

I noticed them having problems yesterday, getting timeout notices sometimes...

Well I hope they get their stuff together without messing with the downloader again...

No problems since FFnet came back. But I did do the update that just came out today.

Thanks, Anchalee! I played around, but I can't get the result I want. The banners on ff.net are appearantly not good for the FFDL. Could be worse!

You can also save the banner (right click, save as) and then paste it into the cover spot in calibre. Might be a bit distorted though.

I'm sad. I had a fic all picked out to read, and then I read the author's note, which mentions Bella and Jasper "exercising their demons", and yeah nope! Who wants fit demons?
So I decided to try an old favorite, and reread Colliding Meteors.
