So I decided to try an old favorite, and reread Colliding Meteors.

CM is always a joy to re-read, I have done so a number of times.    At the moment though I am re-reading Sassafrass Junction, boy it is good stuff.

As a student of history interested in the Englightment, I can tell you the whole thing with Catherine and a horse, was a big fat lie put about by her political enemies.  Having said that the lady sure did like handsome young men but then who doesn't?

I'm finding the writing not as good as I remembered, but the story still has me pulled in. Shocked at all the details I'd forgotten though!

Maybe you can help me though. I was trying to remember a BxJ fic I read a while back, it was a vampfic, and all I really remember are a couple of scenes with Jasper driving with Bella in his lap, or Bella driving with Jasper in the seat behind her, helping her control the car. I think it was because it was a car they had stolen that was a classic muscle car, with a lot of power, hard for Bella to handle on her own. And that's all I can really remember, any help? I'm gonna ask on the non-canon thread too.

Matron, if you're talking about their new "policy" which basically discredits their mission statement that goodreads is for readers, then I understand your anger.  I wasn't very active in the social aspect of gr, and I only used it to organize my books so I wasn't directly affected by the change, but I've already left the site.  I have zero patience for that type of censoring or pandering to a small minded and hypocritical

I did that a few months ago. Couldn't find anything that looked good so I re-read CM.....it was, for me, one of those fics that wasn't nearly as good the second time around as the first for some reason. Which really stinks because it had been a fav before that. Sigh.

Now, I did read Rosalie's Baby again and THAT was just as good as I remembered and I still lol'd when I read it for the second time. I'm in a fic slump right now and think I may re-read another, maybe the Quiet Room or Unobservable Entity.
