This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I don't know why I held off on reading this one for as long as I did, and I'd love to know if she'd written more than one fic!

This had the most supreme UST that I think I'd ever read, was extreme angst but was also just beautiful.

If you haven't read it, I highly recommend.

Edward is a 27-year-old alcoholic/addict struggling with his recovery. Bella is a 23-year-old who's moved back home after college. This fic chronicles how they meet, fall in love, and struggle with the complexities of their relationship. Not nearly as maudlin as it sounds (I hope).

Rated NC-17 for graphic (and sometimes non-romantic) sex, drug and alcohol use and abuse, profane language, and brief (very brief) suicidal ideation (although NO suicide attempts). No sexual assault, no cutting.

It's been soooo long by my impatient standards, exactly why i hate WIPs

I HATE them too!! I usually try to read only complete fics but once in awhile I forget to check and then I get so frustrated when there are no updates!!! grrrr..
But I still appreciate the efforts of all the great writers out there!!!

My copy is completely awful, so if yours gets better, please let me know!

Just finished reading it yesterday and I was disappointed. The first part, the date and the time after is pretty good, a lot of funny moments but it gets old fast and then the youth and inexperience of the author shows. I mean, thw whole story is unrealistic, but it gets to the point where everything I know about medical conditions, surgeries, recoverie times etc is ignored... that made me mad!

Well, read for yourself and tell me what you think...

I converted a different version - not a storymaster one - to text and then to mobi in Calibre. It looks okay so far. There's a few funky symbols that pop up, not sure what they replace, but other than that it is much more readable than the other version. Let me know if you have problems with it....

I really miss reading WIPs but other than a couple - such as this - I've given up because they take so long to update, I've forgotten the story. Or worse, I've forgotten I was reading it at all....

I thought I'd give it a try even though it was only rated T.
It was an alright read and the idea was pretty good but what p*ssed me the hell off was the way Bella and Rose kept calling each other (even though they are BFF's) and everyone else "Skanks, Sluts, Wh0res!" and that was pretty much their way of greeting each other.

I know teenagers do this as I seem to be constantly nagging my daughter and friends about it lately but it annoys the hell out of me as it's so dis-respectful and I personally know what it's like to live somewhere where that is everyone's opinion of you, so peeps calling each other this for fun just makes me wanna scream.

You don't have to have an account to look, I don't think. You just need an account to get the notifications. I usually bookmark the good ones & check every so often. Though I may have an account....

Ok, I don't have a tumblr account and not exactly sure what it is.

It's where peeps post mainly photos or gifs but can contain anything, tumblr can be as innocent as you like or as filthy. I for one have 2 accounts one sweet and innocent and one that might be considered very naughty. (Hard to believe I know) Many people link their tumblr posts to twitter or such like, I do.
