OK you know you read too much fanfiction when you want to post a comment on a "real" book and end up slightly bemused when you can’t.

Yeah, PTS is back!

I need to thank someone for rec'ing Drotuno's Pieces of you. Was that you deranged_dreamer? I really liked it and never would have given it a go as it's a cheater fic if it wasn't for your rec. (The opening A/N promising that B/E never cheat on each other helped too). I was completely sucked into the story by the opening chapters. A nice combo of angst and romance with just a smidge of drama. Nicely written. Thanks!

Hi Im looking for a Mob Fic.. it starts out with bella in walmart when somebody starts to rob the store... she ends up saving Alice and Rose and her friend from being attcked by the robbers... Alice brother is Edward a mob boss and in bella's escape from reporters Edward runs after her starting there epic love affair.

what p*ssed me the hell off was the way Bella and Rose kept calling each other (even though they are BFF's) and everyone else "Skanks, Sluts, Wh0res!" and that was pretty much their way of greeting each other. 
I know teenagers do this as I seem to be constantly nagging my daughter and friends about it lately but it annoys the hell out of me as it's so dis-respectful and I personally know what it's like to live somewhere where that is everyone's opinion of you, so peeps calling each other this for fun just makes me wanna scream.

I can't stand this - and it's weird, but I actually find it more offensive when girls call their friends these derogatory terms, than when guys say them about a random stranger! I think it's because, when women say this about themselves, it's almost like they're giving permission to others to say it, and it also numbs the negative connotations associated with these words.

That said, I have a bad habit of calling my friends "Bitch" if I've been drinking - male and female - and, during my Breaking Bad marathon, I have laughed every time Jesse says it. LOL.

Now I feel like such a hypocrite!
