I like Sierra Cartwright and R.K. Lilley.

The Jodi Ellen Malpas series (This Man) was awful.  Besides all the horrible SPaG, the "alpha" male's behavior would be used as an example for the beginnings of an abusive relationship.  And the woman is a total doormat.

Wow, and so many people said they liked the Malpas books, thanks for the tip! I've started SC's Mastered series and like it so far.

Hubs has started reading ebooks which he loves.  I suppose it's because they are all manly and techno. lmao

I worked at a battered women's charity for a while, and I had a really strong reaction to the Malpas books.  I read them, but I was pissed off the entire time.  Unfortunately, there are too many women out in the real world who take responsibility for their partner's bad behavior and think that isolating, controlling, manipulative, deceitful behavior equals love.  Please don't get me started.  It pisses me off to even think about it.  I blasted the first book in a review on goodreads.  I probably got blasted in return, but haven't been back to look.
