My use of PDFs is bec of my OCD. When i first joined PTS, all the fics were in PDF. So when i learned to download it direct from FFN with flagfic, i stuck with PDFs to keep them all in one format. The real books I always save in epub...so i only have 2 libraries in my ipad:  books (all in epub, real books only), PDFs (all fanfics). I use calibre to convert them to the "correct" format based on my weird ways   

Creating other libraries/using calibre to sort fics by wards or bellas i will not do as i don't want to fuel my OCDness 

My system sounds similar to yours. I have 3 folders on my computer: one of RL books that are almost all epubs, one of fanfics of almost all PDFs and one P2P folder which has author folders of mixed--with both the PDF fanfic and epub RL book if I have it.

Everything via flagfic I grab as epub and PDF. That's my OCD. The pdfs are only back-up if my epubs should disappear somehow.
I grab the real books how I get them, but preferably in epub.
And I accepted the pulled fics in pdf so long, but I can actually feel my OCD kicking in. It would be really nice to have those converted in epub.
Does anybody know if this requires reworking the epubs when I convert it via Calibre? Or does this work good and nice without problems?

By the way - have I ever mentioned how much I adore Calibre? Brilliant program! Makes me unbelievably happy!  Almost like s.e.x..... 
I finally managed to manipulate my e-book-reader via Calibre to show the number of pages in the title. By doing this I don't have to open the fic on my reader to see how long it is or I don't have to have access to the internet or my Calibre to decide if the length of the fic is suitable for my reading time. Sure - I could open the fic to see the pages, but then I lose the "new" status and I can't stand that! Woohoo!!!! I had this on my mind for a long time now and finally did the research and managed it.  I'm a very happy girl right now! Everything's looking mighty fine in my fanfic world.

There.  That's plain English with the proper usage and spelling of all the words.

Do you think they wrote it and then sent it through the thesaurus? Or perhaps they speak another language and just ran it through the translator.

Is the entire fic like that? And what's the title - because just that paragraph made my brain hurt!

Those days are long gone I look like shit now.  Besides there are no more wine bars, no more clubs, no more drunken evenings out with friends, even the tube is out but I did once get propositioned in Boots the Chemist so perhaps there is still hope.

I don't know why I held off on reading this one for as long as I did, and I'd love to know if she'd written more than one fic!

This had the most supreme UST that I think I'd ever read, was extreme angst but was also just beautiful.

If you haven't read it, I highly recommend.

Evening all.  I am reading a fic that is really silly but I cannot help reading which is so annoying.  The characters meet and within 1 chapter are at it like rabbits. Why am I doing this to myself?   

Does this not happen then? 

I thought everyone fell in love at first sight and had multiples within minutes of meeting!

You could watch hun as it wouldn't be the first time it's happened to me but that's a whole 'nother story (it involves going to a sex addicts meeting!  ). But, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be pretty hun.
