This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

ok how do I download from a blog. I am trying to get stories from sliverblossoms blog but not having any luck. I see that caliber does not work with it and when I click on download story it does not do anything.

I attempted to do the exact same thing last night using You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login for the first time ever, but it wouldn't work and I think it was because it will only do the last 100 posts, and what I wanted was from earlier than that.

I did a cut and paste of Edward's Spitfire, because it was mentioned on 152, but the final chapter is missing from the blog, so I guess we'll just have to wait until she publishes it too!

I'll post my C&P effort on 152, if you want it. I hadn't read any silverblossom's fics and just from copying and pasting, I noticed heaps of SPAG errors - too many for me to sit and correct! I did edit one chapter - but only paragraphing - there was none! The entire chapter was posted as one condensed paragraph!

It only works on certain kinds of blogs, but you can try You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login. I haven't used it, but I heard it works, but takes some time to DL books.

Hi, Can anyone rec any AH culturally/socially restricted-type stories (completed)? I.E. where B/E either come from different worlds or from ones different than what I'm used to? Prefer multichapter B/E. Modern or historical is fine.

I'm not really sure if this is what you are after, and this will probably frustrate you more than help you, and I am going to apologise in advance if I use any non-PC terms.

I do recall seeing a fic from a few years ago where Bella was either black or bi-racial. I believe she worked as a choir director in a church. I haven't read it and can't even remember the title, but it looked interesting (and the Bella on the banner - it was on either Twilighted or TWCS - was stunning!)

Does it ring a bell for anyone?

Do you guys get the talking popup ads on this website? I so wish there was an option to pay a fee and be ad free. I'd think a lot of people would pay to use the website without ads, but not sure if that would even be possible to setup. I understand why they have them and love this website so obviously dealing with the ads is worth it... but if I hear "Wanna buy a boat?" one more time I might scream.

I'm almost convinced that it is somehow unmuting my speakers to. LOL

According to her bio she graduated from law school, yet she fails to understand the copyright law.

You can't copyright fanfiction because it is an illegal use of copyrighted material and basically SM owns it all. She smartly allows people to use her characters because people enjoy it and buy more Twilight stuff. But Nikki has no leg to stand on if she tries to go after you for copying it.

And it all started because someone plagiarized one of her stories, changed it to OF and made money from it. So I feel bad that that happened to her, but she would be better off removing everything, changing it to OF and posting it on one of those other sites or TWCS where you can post OF.

I have Ghostery on my Chrome and it blocks it all. But I do get it on my Internet Explorer when I use it. It is very annoying when it happens.

I do get the normal ads on my phone but not the popup ones. Maybe if you disable popups? It would be in your settings.
