Ella - I was noticing the tags at the bottom, since our previous ones have been rather hilarious. single fatherward?Since I saw Fassy, I was going to add Jamie (it will work for Dornan or Fraser ) but it wouldn't allow me to add.Fanficgirl. I think the Jaime / Jamie might be a merging of words and wishes in French.J'aime Jamie !
Well now, this could get interesting. When I hit that spot....both my eyebrows went straight up. It was a subtle notice, since most of the time he was mentioned by LJ. That does mean I am retaining the wealth of words she puts forth. I guess that means Jamie has some explaining to do and relatively fast. I would suppose the Scottish Prisoner, would be about our one and only. Has anyone read Exile ? I haven't found it yet and not sure I would like comics.
Just realised that this is my 15,000th post, so I thought I might as well use it wisely. Just love how my baby goes from sexy and smoldering (and probably plotting someone'e death ) in the above pic into be really cute in this one.
Spent a lot of time on tripadvisor tonight looking at Scotland. How the hell am I suppose to do a country in a week!!??? Looks like most of my stuff is either Highlands (Inverness, Ft. William, Loch Ness), a little in Aberdeen and Edinburg or over by Isle of Skye. Sigh. I need more time or I will kill myself.
Started Outlander Book 2 and I must say that the first 15% is quite boring so far... I know, I know! They have to set things up, but gah! I am not a fan of reading about all the political stuff. I'm going to keep reading!
Just got the giggles. If you look at all the subjects touched on ONE page, like this one, it's a wonder we don't scare the shit outta people who might visit our thread. Eye candy, to lollies, to books, to fanfics, to reece cups, to Scotland, to savoring items in our mouth, to etc, etc. . . . .
Excellent use of your 15,000th post. You are a busy girl. Maybe I should go find a few to delete and you can do it again.
I was very surprised to find out from a friend that lives in Ireland that they don't have RootBeer and he has never had any.
Loopy - with all your adventures, I dunno how you have had time to post that many, but I loved the celebratation post.
Congratulations and jubilationsI want the world to know I'm happy as can be Am I allowed to quote Sir. Cliff? Did we ever find out if he was a pedo?? Anyhooo whatever....Congrats Loopy Girl! Now if you could just dig up new Fassy pics for my sig I'll love you forever....*shhh! Don't tell Menzi, I think I asked her to be my LebLov and then never called her....I'm such a jerkward* We don't have root beer generally but Tesco Extra does have a US aisle and I think I might have seen it there...I've never tasted root beer The name doesn't inspire confidence in the taste..Peanut M&M are my exception to the the non-eating chocolate rule...so moreish don't get me started on a pack, I'll eat them til I'm sick! This is why I FLOVE this thread! No place like it......
I don't understand what you mean RDM? What spot?
Yes I read Exile, I had to buy the graphic novel from Amazon Marketplace and wait for it to arrive from the US.....no need to put yourself through that, it doesn't really add anything to the main story, but it is a bit of a collectors item.....
Do the Highlands this year and then come back....have you decided on a date? I'm going to rent a cottage in the Highlands for a month (just work remotely) in May/June....so if we coincide
Kim, don't you start! RDM is an excellent example that all the pain and suffering you're encountering right now in DIA will be worth it in the end.
And now let's talk about Jamie! No, not Outlander Jamie. Jamie Dornan!I haven't seen FSOG yet but hope to go to the movies next weekend. I told my husband I'd go...I didn't ask him to go with me, because I really didn't think he wanted to see such a movie so can you imagine my face when he told me he wanted to go with me? Talk about big surprise! I guess, he wants to watch some p.orn on the big screen. We'll see how that goes...
I've never liked Root Beer, when I was a kid we used to be able to buy Root Beer sweets not too sure if that's still the case but my Dad loves Root Beer and just the smell alone is vomit inducing. There's a shop in Cardiff (there was one in Bristol but it closed down) that sells nothing but American food products from candy, bread, butter to cereal, we go there every time my family is over from the states as they just need certain things that they don't like the British equivalent of but it's really expensive - a box of Luck Charms cost £5 (about $7.50), I suppose shipping costs etc pushes the price up but I just can't understand how anyone would/could spend that much on a box of cereal.
Is Ginger Beer a British thing or only Australian? I recently discovered some that isn't overly gingery and like that, but still like root beer better. As an American living in Europe, there are sometimes when you just crave something from back home, and it is nice to have the American/British stores which are wicked expensive, but good for a craving from time to time, and baking ingredients.
I am afraid this may be my once in a a lifetime, so I have so much I want to see and hardly any of it is in the cities. I told hubs I just might decided I want to move ! We really haven't decided when and just started talking about it, but it looks like July maybe a good time? It will feel like the arctic to me. In July we are usually 95-100f with almost 100% humidity. I see there the high is like 62 in July

Mmmmmmm, Peanut M&M's.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.Good to know. I won't bother then. There is definitely enough material to read!giggles. Deja vu huh ?
Well July is as good a time as any, you might even get a few days of sun....Are you thinking a week in Scotland and one in England?
Yeah...See that spot isn't the worse...where are you in the book? Have they landed in Jamaica yet? I don't want to spoil it for you but there's a scene where I wanted to slap LJ like a b!tch! I decided then and there that we weren't gonna be friends, LJ and I....It is so Deja vu!
But back to Jamie...I watched his interview on Graham Norton and somehow I got the idea to look for The Fall on Youtube. And there are all episodes uploaded! So I watched the first one. At first I thought of stopping to watch the show, because it was a strange feeling to feel for a serial killer or be attracted to him. But I couldn't stop! I'm totally hooked! Jamie is fantastic!!!!!Don't worry, Loopy, I don't want to steal him from you...Rob's still my number one...but he might get second place! Holy moly...he can act! Sooooooo fascinating...and what a handsome serial killer. I'm so looking forward to this afternoon when I can continue with the show.I noticed one thing though...in one of his interviews with Graham Norton he mentioned his weird gait and I have to admit it's true. He really walks a little weird. It doesn't diminish his appeal though.I'm all the more curious for FSOG now though.
Hubs went with me and never even gave me a funny look nor grumbled. When it got done, he was like, I thought there would be more S*E*X and it wasn't what I thought it would be. Now I have to push him to read the books. On a funny note, hubs and I went into a s.e.x.shop around Christmas. When we walked in, I started going one way and he went the other. Not two steps away from each other, he said....*whispering* "Honey come here and look, they have a crop."I walk over just because I am curious what he knows of them, and when I walk over...... I snort, laugh, and tears roll. He just looks at me like I have finally lost my mind. A few moments later, I am more composed and finally able to catch my breath and talk. Just as straight face as I was able to muster, I said....."Honey that is a flogger" and turned and walked away. I really should have taken a pic of his face. So then he followed me around like a little 3 year old would nipping on your heels asking, Why?Why?Why?. Asking a thousand questions, which most I was able to answer. He wanted how I knew all this stuff. I told him I read !!! (and sometimes google)
Again not keen on Lucky Charms too.....Yep! You guessed it, sweet! And 'hell no' would I buy them for a fiver, that's how much they cost in Tesco's.... ..
Trust me when I say that no box of Lucky Charms is worth $7.50 anywhere. Now a really large Snickers with Peanut Butter maybe I could make an exception for............but that is still a no on the Lucky Charms.
No England, just Scotland. Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
I know everyone (even Jamie) goes on about his walk but I seriously never noticed it until that GN interview and by then I'd already watched the first season of TF several times - I'm just that observant.
Hmmm...Have you done England before? Yes, I know exactly where you are...you'll know when you get to the part when you'll want to beat him up...Or maybe I'm just a very violent person. I'm anti anyone that looks even sideways at Jamie Fraser....so Long Leghair, Blackmailing Beetch, Saggy Breast In The Cave...all should never cross my path A large Snickers bar covered in peanut butter?! How does that work..... You know who has a reeeally weird walk? Timothy Olyphant....The weirdest walk I have ever seen! God, I miss Deadwood.....
I think Ruth meant the snickers edition with You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, it's really yummy. I just saw that there's a peanut butter version of Twix. My mouth is water just thinking of Snickers and peanut butter - I do love dunking them in a jar of crunchy peanut butter (and mayo, but that's whole 'nother addiction) . Pretty much anything covered in peanut butter makes me happy. Deadwood, just mentioning makes me wanna re-watch it all over again, one day I will. Can't say I noticed how Timothy Olyphant walks either. I'll be watching peeps walking about from now on when I watch TV.
Ahhhh, OK I think I I've seen these. Your link Loopy took me to an Amazon.co.uk page that was trying to charge £8.95 ($13.78) for 5 bars!!! But hey! You get free delivery! Yeah watch him..Deadwood or Justified...I've never noticed Jamie's walk before so...
Rob has a weird gait too though. But that makes them only more likeable. Does anybody know if there's going to be a third season of The Fall? But I don't even know yet if the end of season 2 would allow a third season. But only 2 seasons of Paul Spector? That's really not enough!
