Hello everyone!

Do you remember me? I know i was gone for ages but i thought of you girls all the time. I see there are a few people here i haven't met yet but im sure that wont be a problem after a few posts lol.

Good to see RDM still peddling our p0rn even though its no longer predominately The Pretty - no complaints here!

Loopy is stilll Loopy thank goodness! Good to see you still getting your perv on!

KimKimKim has changed her name i think? I remember her having the Lemons avatar...

Hello Ella, DD, Demaris, limomx2, Booked, Matron (still loving the m/m gifs)!! :) Where is Astro? Is she not on anymore? :( FFG still keeping everyone in line? Hope you and yours and fantastic!

I apologise if this has been covered already. Remember way back when we read the AMAZING Buried Amongst the Begonias by DurtyNelly, and it was never completed? Someone here (i think it was SavannahBlue - i could be wrong) was going to finish it. Did she ever get around to it and was it posted somewhere? Its just one of those things that pop into my head every now and then.

Hello Loopy!! Omg i watched 9 songs about a fortnight ago. I just kept thinking how is this not p0rn? When she goes down on him and then he finishes i was like woah!

Anywhoo, i gotta go get my housework done so i will see you lovelies later xx

Few months ago I stumled across wonderful story Strange Brew by Magnolia822: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
I`m sure some of you has already read it since it was finished in 2012 but to those who didn`t - I truly reccomend it. It`s one of my most favorite stories. It has college Bella and little older Edward (he`s in his thirties) and a lot of beer tasting. And I love beer so it`s perfect for me  :P It made me want to drink while I was reading. And sometimes I didn`t hesitate  ;) I hope you`ll like it.

I loved this story...  Speaking of stories I just read and finished " Edward Wallbanger"  OMG i loved it. I laughed with the texts back and forth between everyone.  Now i need some suggestions on my next...  Do i start MoTU or wait for the Edited copy by Ella?  I am not a have angst girl dont mind some in a story but I FLOVE my HEA..

Loopy CONGRATULATIONS on your 15k post.   :-*

Totally random, but do you guys have Reese's Peanut Butter cups outside of the US?   If not, do you have some other sort of wonderful chocolate peanut butter combination?

I never make it over to the 152 thread as I only have this thread bookmarked and always just come directly here.   I'll try to check it out more, but I never know what people are talking about.  I've still only read 62 fics so far (yes, I keep a list with a summary and my brief thoughts on each).   My short TBRfics list only has 37 on there right now.  I have a list of titles, a quick summary and then some comments like "Demaris loved this one",   "OBL's favorite" etc.   I'm determined to make it through those 37 before I add anymore to the list, but occasionally if you guys really go on about one I'll add it.

My favorite candy!!!! The "big cups" are My kryptonite!!! I love the holiday ones... Trees, hearts, eggs.... Ugh... Yum...

Wow! I'm impressed!!!!

Oh - uh - yeah - thanks Loopy - I did mean the Snickers with the peanut butter filling.  They're the only Snickers I eat now.  They come in regular and large sizes.   I've heard that Twix has peanut butter too now but I haven't seen them.  But - I haven't been looking for them either since I don't normally buy Twix.   Onebitelover - I love the Reeses in tree, heart, etc. form also.  I just bought a package of the Reeses hearts (6 hearts per package) (Valentine's Day leftover) on sale over the weekend.  I might have picked up a second one but I was being shadowed by a friend who simply went "should I be shaking you and lecturing?"  I said no and ignored the second package and kept walking.   Butterfinger has a peanut butter filling now too.   and Oilily Sepperl - yeah Rob does have an awkward gait - its so him.  Its those long legs of his (one leg is slightly shorter than the other one but I don't remember which one) that get him into trouble.  They're part of what makes him so adorkable.

I also love the wild topic changes we have!   I've been a member of a lot of message boards over the years and this is by far my favorite!

Now you guys have me dreaming of Big Cups.   (and giggling because the name makes me think of something other than chocolate and PB).

I have made it a little further into DiA and yes, now I remember all the trouble that was had trying to get through DiA!  That has helped me and I'm going to continue pushing through.   Something hilarious just happened though...  it's the little things that keep me loving this series.  It involved Jamie wielding a large sausage as a weapon, ending up in a brothel and then later having that same sausage for supper.   :D

Do you guys ever listen to audiobooks?   I'm getting major eye fatigue trying to make it through Outlander.   I'm thinking I may need to switch up between audio and reading.

Audio books are great, but it really depends on who reads them and if you like their voice.  Some readers have a very annoying voice.

Outlander has to be up there with some of the best books I've read; so I thought 'I wonder what it'd be like as an audio book.' Epic fail, hated the narrators voice....she was way too 'old sounding' for Claire. And when she did Jamie's voice? Or a Scottish accent in general? I wanted to run screaming from the room. You might not notice, as you don't listen to a English accent every day, but for me it was torture.

‘Fifty Shades’ Sequel: Author E.L. James Demands Control Over Script
Now that “Fifty Shades of Grey” has become an international box office phenomenon, author E.L. James is seeking more control over the sequel by writing the script herself. Universal Pictures, which had been resistant to the idea, is currently discussing the potential move with James, who wrote the bestselling erotic trilogy about Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, Variety has learned.

Given the success of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which has so far grossed more than $300 million worldwide, the next logical step would be for the studio to announce the greenlight to its sequel, “Fifty Shades Darker.”

According to insiders, the delay in the production of “Fifty Shades Darker” is related to the fact that Universal execs and James are still arguing over details. Unlike most successful franchises, which aim to retain the team behind the first film, it appears that “Fifty Shades” will undergo a dramatic creative reshuffling in the weeks to come. Sources close to the project don’t expect director Sam Taylor-Johnson or screenwriter Kelly Marcel to be back for the second installment, though reps for the studio say no official decisions have been made.

“The studio had always intended to sit down with the author after the film opened and discuss next steps, and that has not yet happened,” said a Universal spokesman.

If James does write the screenplay for “Fifty Shades Darker,” it could mean a later release date for the sequel. James has never written a film before, and the studio may need to factor in extra time for revisions. But as in the case of Gillian Flynn, who wrote both the book and screenplay for “Gone Girl,” the project could potentially benefit from an author adapting her own characters.

Because of this uncertainty, production on “Fifty Shades Darker” likely won’t get under way until the first quarter of 2016. That would mean the sequel wouldn’t arrive until late 2016 or the first quarter of 2017. Without a shooting script or start date, having the movie ready for next year’s Valentine’s Day is highly unlikely.

It’s rare in showbiz for an author to exercise the kind of oversight that James has had over the bigscreen journey of “Fifty Shades.” James didn’t peddle the movie rights until her books were already a worldwide phenomenon, and every studio in town wanted to adapt the trilogy, which gave her considerable bargaining power. As a result, she was able to negotiate a deal with Universal and Focus Features that gave her control over how Christian and Anastasia would appear in the film. Not only does she exercise casting approval — she first met Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian, at his audition in Los Angeles (and was a fan of his work on the BBC TV series “The Fall”) — she’s also credited as a producer on the first movie.

When J.K. Rowling sold her “Harry Potter” books to Warner Bros., she weighed in on a few creative decisions — asking that the cast be made up of British actors, for example. But then she allowed the filmmakers to take liberties with her stories. The films’ screenwriter, Steve Kloves, has said Rowling was hands-off. The same went for Stephenie Meyer, author of the “Twilight” franchise, which inspired “Fifty Shades.”

On the other hand, James was very involved in all aspects of the “Fifty Shades” film, as she attended creative meetings to make sure that the film didn’t veer too far from her book. According to sources, James, who has no prior film experience, would at times hold up the creative process by offering input that wasn’t in line with the filmmakers’ vision. But given James’ contract with Universal, the director and other producers on the film couldn’t go around her.

James and director Taylor-Johnson constantly fought on set and in the editing room on details surrounding the movie. “We disagreed a lot,” Taylor-Johnson told Variety in January. “She created these characters and the story. I was trying to create a film experience that would honor the book but at the same time give us a fresh perspective. That was difficult for her. We’d battle things out. I think you could say we crossed every scenario through our battles.”

While it’s not clear why Taylor-Johnson wouldn’t be back for the sequel, it’s likely both sides aren’t eager to rehash similar arguments. James and Marcel worked on the first draft of “Fifty Shades of Grey” at the author’s London home. But once the studio asked for revisions to tone down the sexual content, Marcel and James had a falling out, according to sources. Patrick Marber was brought in for the rewrites. (Marcel, who declined to be interviewed, hasn’t been part of the “Fifty Shades” press tour.)

In the meantime, production uncertainty has also made scheduling difficult for stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. The two actors are now hot casting commodities. But since they don’t know when they’ll need to disrobe for the next “Fifty Shades,” they haven’t been able to commit to other roles in the near future.

Hmmm...Have you done England before?

Yes, I know exactly where you are...you'll know when you get to the part when you'll want to beat him up...Or maybe I'm just a very violent person. I'm anti anyone that looks even sideways at Jamie Fraser....so Long Leghair, Blackmailing Beetch, Saggy Breast In The Cave...all should never cross my path  :D

Nope, never been to England either.

I am pretty territorial as well. It's MINE ! To the point that I will grab hub's muffin in public. I think he has grown accustomed to it, since he doesn't even flinch anymore. He will usually lean over and say something like..... Feeling possessive are you?....Or.......careful, you know what the leads to.  Either way it leads to a fine lip biting kiss and my goal most of the time.  :)
