Oh my word! Finished the first chapter of WitS. E has sharp teeth, 4 fingers with claws aside from the tail?! Man, my mind is going to be working overtime to gloss all of that over. What will that feel like when they kiss? How can he finger her?! Trudging on....
Booked, I was exactly the same when I first started reading...Trust me when I say WiTS is one of the best stories in the Fandom, the author worked really hard creating this alternative universe and she pulled it off admirably.....Floved it!
Btw, it's my daughter's junior prom tom. She's attending the same all girls catholic school i did so she had to prompose to a boy from the next door all male catholic school my husband went to (and now my son is studying there too ). She first invited a guy friend taller than her last month. Then she became uncomfortable with him bec he said he wanted to be more than her friend. She un-promposed last Sat. Her best gay friend couldn't go with her so she invited another guy she's friends/comfortable with. She forgot he was shorter than her so her dad brought her to the mall to buy another new pair of shoes: flats Ahhh, to be 16 again....am also excited to see my baby go to the prom! But what the heck are with kids today with these elaborate promposals. Thankfully, she just called up these guys and made a joke in making the invite. Her other guy friend who asked her classmate to his school's prom even bought rose petals, scattered it along the walkway to his house and rented a smoke machine so when the girl entered the house, he will walk through the smoke carrying another bouquet of flowers. Then he fed them all (6 of them were there to witness/help set up the promposal) hand made pizzas and pasta he prepared. Gosh! The parents of that kid was probably loaded.
Oh I don't know....the Twilight soundtracks were better than the films, especially the first and last two...it's following a well known trend

Too funny! She sounds like my mother...since DVDs first came to the market she's called them VDs, and Google is Goggle ( 'can you search Goggle for me', is a favourite of hers) which I suppose could be understandable.

Arghhhhhhh, I can't believe that the phrase "could care less" was used in that article. My Mum brought me some old magazines from November/December and in one of them it mentioned that the pre-release viewings hadn't gone well at all due to the lack of chemistry and awkwardness (which we knew anyway) and apparently that was one of the reasons why Jamie and Dakota had to film a few extra "romantic" scenes to prove they weren't awkward with each other. Another thing, I swear the peeps that are watching all these "exclusive" clips have pretty much watched the whole movie by now.
It amazes me that they can't even "pretend" to be friendly for the press tour - how is anyone supposed believe them as this super sexual BDSM couple?

Demaris, back in August I registered on the outlander forum. I went and read the rules today. And posted on your intro thread and made my own intro thread. But, how much fun can they be if you can't post pictures of bare-chested men? Why do you have to be 18 or above if there's no eye candy?
Where is that *PassesOutFromInformationOverload* smiley? Wow. That forum makes me want to read the books even more!
*cough* we LOVE pictures of bare chested (and really, almost naked) men here. *coughcheatingwomencough* Though I can see the need for summarized versions of the stories. I wonder if there is a Cliff Notes version out there?
