So I was trying to reread MOTU but the formatting was driving me bonkers. Halfway through a sentence there would be a line break and double space. Plus the quotes came out as a dash before and a double vertical line after. So I decided, since I will probably want to reread at least parts again, I was going to fix it. So I thought, while I'm at it, I can put in bookmarks for chapters, as there aren't any. And then I thought, should I correct the grammar and other things? This is where I'm not sure. For me? I would probably like the grammar errors and Britishisms corrected - it is not a 30 storey building, it is a 30 story building. LOL! But it is set in Seattle. It needs to be right. So, thoughts on this - would it bother people if I fix these things. I will then put the fixed one in my Google drive for those of you who would like an easier version.....
Do you know I've never read a Nicholas Sparks' novel? Does that mean I have to hand in my I Have A Vagina membership card? If I wanted to finally dip my big toes which book would anyone who has read him suggest I start with?
Loopy, I had you pegged as someone in their late twenties or very early thirties.
Loopy is 30-31 [emoji1]
Loopy - CONGRATS!! You and your family must be very excited for the new grandchild to come. I had my first son when I was 17, so I can relate.
I guess I need to hand in my card too. Congrats Loopy!!!

I'm with everyone else - never read any of his books, but watched a few of his films, so I suppose I'd have to hand in my Vah-jay-jay card if I had one as according to my best guy I don't own one I own a penis fly trap. I think he's that type of author, you just wait until the movies released. I must admit my guilty pleasure is AWtR - it's so sweet it's tooth ache enduring, I always end up crying like a baby at the end. Thanks. Yeah Booked's right I'm 31 for a more weeks at least then I'm due my mid-life crisis. At least the hubby has stopped bitching about becoming a Grampy at 26.

Dear John had Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried [emoji3]
Thanks Onebitelover - I was going to say Amanda Siegfried going purely on demaris' description of the actress but I couldn't remember who played John. I had the misfortune of seeing the trailer at the theater when I went to see Eclipse. I'd already read the book and suffered through the preview grinding my teeth.
the riding with wet hair scene....he kills me
I totally understand. Him wet = me wet. *snort*But grabbing the hair in this trailer.........F.u.c.k.'You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Loopy did you see Mark Kermode's review for FSOG? Its on BBC News 24 as I type! He blames the whole mess on EL James' bad writing, and the fact that she wouldn't let them use any dialogue but the one she wrote in the book....
Congrats Loopy
No I didn't see his review though I've read that in quite a few others.I saw You are not allowed to view links. The reviews are definitely a mixed bag, it seems as that general census is that my baby and Dakota are acting like they're acting in two different movies. I'll D/L it in the next few days as I can't be arsed to D/L it right away, that and I wanna finish watching season four of Teen Wolf. :DThanks hun.

There was a review of FSoG in today's paper. I was a little surprised. It said, no surprise, that the movie was terrible, but the reviewer thought Dakota was a good actress and Jamie was like a blank canvas.
Ummmm, this is true. Dakota carried the movie, not Jamie (runs to hide from Loopy)....I went to watch with low expectations. I was surprised it was not that bad. Enough for me to want to watch it again at the theater with my sister tomorrow. As a fan of their story and the characters, this was an ok film for me. I would have wanted more but that would be p0rn already.
