Anyone else suddenly getting pop-up ads from Chitka? They started popping up today on my ipad and only when I go to this page or the 152 page?I hate the kind of advertising that I have to close before I can look at the page.
Little things across the bottom. Not consistent, but I do have to X out of them.
I've never had to do that on this site before, if it was on my computer I'd be looking for malware software to get rid of it, if things are invading my ipad I am really going to lose it. .
Probably Mr. Admin trying to find a way to pay for the site.
Looks like that is the case, and unfortunately this is one of those advertising programs that you have to opt out of separately for every browser and computer so now I'm not going to visit here as often - since I frequenly switch between computers and browsers and I'm not in the mood to figure out how to opt out of all of them. I especially don't want to have to do it on my phone (clicking those tiny buttons would take up all the time I had to visit the site). Sorry Mr. Admin, but inter-active pop-up advertising has the opposite effect on me, instead of drawing my attention to the advertising...it draws me away from the site it popped up on. I know you need the revenue, I just wish it wasn't pop-ups I have to close every time I stop here.

I only get them now and then on my phone. My computer has adblock. But sometimes I like the ads. There were some really cool decorator pillows yesterday that if I didn't have a cat that ruins every pillow I've bought for my couch? I might have bought one. But I hate the popups. If I stay signed in, and just refresh, they don't come back.
That's odd.....I never get any ads or pop-ups on my lappy ever since installing the block and that includes when I use iPlayer (which is a Godsend because more than internet ads TV ads drive me nuts!) BTW Talking about TV, I'm sitting here watching Vampire Diaries with my 15 year old cousins and, while I've not seen it since series 2 I remember it use to be pretty good, what the hell happened?! Such as shame.....
Lol, I totally know what you mean - I stopped watching TVD after series 3 as it was really doing my head in especially Elena who still couldn't decide which brother she wanted.

I watch the show every now and again and they're more or less rehashing storylines and trying to undue things they've done in the past. Honestly, I think it's a clusterfuck. Of course I also watch The Originals which is the offshoot from TVD.
It was like the frigging Bella stringing Jake along situation all over again.Elena would string Damon along even though she was still professing her love for Stefan.So I can gather her and Damon did get together at some point - don't know, don't really care. You do realise that guy that plays Jeremy is Steve McQueen's Grandson, he obviously didn't get his looks from his Granddad.Oh and also his name is Steven R. McQueen - dead inventive of his parents.

What is it with 16/17 year old girls who can't make up their minds between 2 guys - Twilight with Bella, Jacob and Edward, Hunger Games with Katniss,Gale, and Peeta and Vampire Diaries with Elena, Stefan, and Damon? I stopped watching TVD some time ago - it had too much competition on Thursday nights and something had to go. and yeah - another acting dynasty in the making with the McQueens. Add them to the Kirk Douglas Clan, and whoever else that I can't think of right this minute.
Just make sure you have a backup library before you start. Otherwise if it goes wrong you will be stuck. Take it from someone who had to rebuild their library.
