Yesss!!! Past and present stories drive me insane, especially when authors do it throughout the whole story or have a huge slow burn to get to the present. Thankfully in present form, we have Bella speaking to her daughter about life so we know we have a somewhat happy outlook for the future of the story. From what I remember Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.LOL at me. Before I thought about it I was going to say, the angst wasn't that bad!! Until I remembered all that happened.
Have you ever read Master Race by By: Babette12 Alienated from the Cullens, Edward finds himself bored in South America. When he "hears" another vampire creating a master race he is intrigued. But who would be the perfect genetic material and what will be the cost to the human mother?Rated: Fiction M - English - Drama/Romance - Edward, Bella - Chapters: 25 - Words: 115,557 - Reviews: 1,518 - Favs: 618 - Follows: 393 - Updated: Apr 21, 2010 - Published: Nov 4, 2009 - Status: Complete - id: 5488416This one was pretty good IMO. I thought that B's was pretty realistic in this one for the most part....from what I can remember. I occasionally suffer from CRS too. This is on FFN.
Thanks for the rec hun, I started this last night and I'm already 1/2 way through it. Though I do have to say Thank God for online translators as I know no Spanish apart from the basics and though there's not a lot in this but the author doesn't translate them at the bottom or top of the chapter, there obviously words I don't know but that still doesn't stop it being a good fic. Oh, btw it is complete just not marked it, for anyone who's interested *cough*MRS FASSY*cough*.

Ok, so what didn't you like about Master Race? I use the downloader in Calibre on Fictionpad and it seems to work fine.
I use the FFDL plug in for Calibre to download from Fictionpad.
It wasn't Master Race, I've not read it, it was your post "from what I can remember" and " I occasionally suffer from CRS too". Too scary, been burnt by Super's CRS already this week.... I tried that, didn't seem to like it. But it might be that I can't remember my proper username and password ...Thanks though, I'll see if I can find the right info.
Sorry Supercreep, I was ranting about the story Demaris is reading that Loopy told us NOT to read because it was so bad. Bloodlines by Windchymes was kind of sweet. Poor Edward was practically attacked by some girl not long before he was changed. From everything I understand about the change, he very likely didn't remember it and so the story makes sense. Except that the summary indicates he was hiding it from Bella. I think he was hiding it from himself.
I am trying to move my active calibre library to my onedrive app on my desktop. If it works, then every time I update my stories, it should automatically update in onedrive online too. I will let you all know if this works
BTW What are we using to download from Fictionpad? I forgot.....
It works with Calibre/FFDL plugin
For some reason my Calibre really doesn't like it? Anyway I found the fic I was looking for over already downloaded in the Index. On Another note: Remember days gone by when your luck was crappola and you'd find yourself on a series/string of really bad first dates and you'd keep thinking eventually something gotta give? Because fortune favours the brave, or some such ? Well, shout hallelujah! I have read a fic that broke my string of bad luck...The Brightest Star by chocaholic123. Ask yourself? What could be better than Actorward? P0RNward babeee! This girl can write the hell out of a lemon, even for us jaded folks, it's, unfortunately, only 7 Chapters, but f*ck! It was like water in the desert.... Shout Hallelujah, come on get happy We're going to the promise land! The Brightest StarNOT ALLOWED stars, suburbia and Christmas lights. So, I moved one of my library's to the onedrive on my desktop and it updated my online account automatically when I updated calibre. I am going to work on moving the rest of my library's over.
ok would you mind sharing how you did this? I for the life of me could not figure it out . (ok what happended to the thank you/blowing kisses smiley)??
I noticed it'd disappeared too but thought I might just be being 'blonde'; sorry blondes....
LOL. Glad it was not just me.
The easiest way I've used to move the entire library is to copy and paste the library folder to the new location. Then in Calibre, go to the books icon and add an already existing library, browse to the new location, and voilĂ ! It's there! You must copy at the highest folder level. I usually copy then delete if everything is good. Ive moved on occasion, because I know it won't be a problem in the new location. But copying is always safer until you are sure it will work out.
