This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Are you ladies really reading this a WIP?!

I truly am. I broke one of my cardinal rules. I'm crazy and I know it, but I can't help it. Although Loopy is right, it's very long and for a while there is just wasn't going anywhere; I could see it being a bit more of a tough read if you went straight from start to finish, but it's very well written none the less.

I understand the problem of the movie messing everything up. It's too bad they couldn't change some of the actors after the first movie did so well.

Yes! Reading a WIP! It is one of the few left though.

You know one day I'm gonna put a link and there's gonna be p0rn or something really interesting hidden there and you won't know about it unless you click the link.

Yep, it's still a WIP, I personally think that reading it as one is probably better than waiting till it's complete as some of the chapters are just fillers and if I read it complete I would of been fighting boredom on a couple of occasions, and not being able to flounce would of made me lose the will to live.

But don't let that put you off reading it as it's a brilliantly written story.

It's a TB pic - I've not watched the episode yet as I'm a bit behind on this series but apparently it was part of a dream Jason had!!!

I started reading Cullen's Anatomy by LisaDawn75 today. When I originally ran across it, I wasn't reading AU-Human at the time. Then it looked like it had been abandoned so I ignored it. Lisa has started posting again in the past 2 weeks or so and has put up at least 3 chapters. I started reading it this morning and read 6 chapters before I had to leave to go do something else. So - if you started it some time ago and flounced because it wasn't going anywhere - try it again.

I just read them so many times - except New Moon. Other than the end when she goes to Italy, I think I only read it once. That was before fanfic. I really only watched Twilight more than a couple times. Everything else annoys me because of all the differences. So I just watch to see Rob and ignore the rest.

I didn't see Twilight until it was out in DVD. I saw New Moon and Eclipse at the movie theater only because I went with a friend. We weren't hanging out any more by the time BD came out. So I waited for the DVD. I didn't watch Part 2 until it was on cable.

I should say, I'm not a big movie person anyway. I like one hour shows at the most with lots of commercials so I can do other things while watching. My ADD has trouble concentrating long enough for a movie. LOL!

I saw all the Twilight movies in a movie theater and I got all of them on dvd. I have seen them too many times to count. My favorite one is the first movie. I have also read the books too many times to count. My favorite book is the first one.

I know. It just sucked me in too.

I bought the DVD for 4.2 but never watched it LOL. It wasn't until one Saturday when I was flipping channels and saw it on that I watched it. I knew about the ending so it didn't freak me out. But I don't like how they changed it to make it "exciting"

I hate when they stick things in that don't affect anything. I hate stories with extensive dream or fantasy sequences, because they didn't really happen, and so have nothing to do with the story. That made up vision thing didn't change anything, they just stuck it in there so they could advertise the "surprise ending", even though it wasn't real.

I hardly ever watch tv episodes that feature a dream or AU sequence, because they very rarely have anything to do with the actual story being told.

TightlyBound - Didn't I see you over on Twilighted this afternoon? Back to the movies - I saw Twilight on DVD, New Moon and Eclipse at the movies and Breaking Dawn 1 and 2 on DVD. A girlfriend and I managed to get to the movie theater for BD 1 on New Year's Day and there were so many people at the movie theater - we said to hell with it and turned around and went home. There were god knows how many people in the lobby waiting for tickets and we had cars in front of us letting people out to get in line and cars in back of us out into the street and we all had to find parking spaces. BD was starting in 10 minutes and we essentially gave up - figured by the time we actually got into the movie it would have already started. I have never seen so many people in a movie theater in a long time. I'm not a big movie goer either Ella. I hate waiting in line - and I hate going and maybe not liking the movie considering the price of tickets these days. On another note - for those of you who haven't heard the news - Robin Williams died today -apparent suicide.
