What I find is if I've had a run of bad fics I'll stump off in a grot and open a book. Un/fortunately, if the book is part of a series then my return to fics is delayed until I get to the end of it. After catching up with all the In Death books I read 4 (count em; FOUR!) bad fics in a row, I couldn't get out of the Dom fast enough! I ran out screaming with my hair on fire I think if I didn't enjoy 'speaking' to you ladies so much I'd probably never read another fic again, it's on here that someone will mention a fic and I'll think 'Oh! That's in my library' and I'll go and investigate and start reading fics again, until my next bad experience, and the process starts all over again.Discovery of Witches is well worth breaking your fic addiction with, its a really good book. I've the rest of the series (it hadn't been completed when I first read Witches) waiting for me once I finish Outlander.
I really, really hate when stories are told in past and present, but Diva Diaries managed to make it enjoyable with the love/hate relationship between Bella and Edward, it probably helped that she had it up in the summary that they were a couple with a past~ so you just needed to keep reading to figure out why they fell apart. I can't remember what Edward's deal was, but I was expecting a different story based off of the summary. I will definitely be reading when she releases them next year.
Why, Oh why do I do this to myself!! I thought if I read a fluffy fic I might be able to leave a polite diplomatic review for a really sh!t ARC I just finished. But this fic is even worse than the ARC. Just in case you're wondering it's: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.Seriously it really says something when the flashbacks are mildly more interesting than the present.Just another time I wish I could flounce.
When I read a bad fic, I usually go to something from my re-read list that I enjoy.
Honey I have to tell you, I actually flinch when I see one of your story links
Lol, not all of my fic links are that bad. Just lately I've had a real run of sucky fics and books, so I share them with you all to see who else I can get stuck in fic hell with me.
B/E HEA???
Yeah, well once bitten, and all that...or is it now 4 times bitten! I think I've done my time in hell with you in the name of friendship, don't you? Oh! Loop check you PM I have a question for ya

I am trying, but it is soooo hard. I have gotten as far as adding the epub to my phone for me to read it. Just haven't cracked it yet. I have decided to sell crochet work on the internet for extra cash, so my reading might end up taking a bit of a back seat. I swear that this has been moved way up the TBR list. Thanks, it is nice to hear from someone that has read it and really liked it.
Ignore Demaris. Mr. PA must be out of town. Of course Diva Diaries is HEA for B/E. It's a rough road though.
hmmmmm
He is not! I just hate that question soooo much. Sorry Limomx, I was messing with you
It is a really close call, I think.....but, I think TBH squeaks in by a hair. If Outlander has just ended with the first three books it might have been a tie. I'll tally-up again once the Outlander series is finished. To be totally honest I don't like historical romances, all that bodice ripping? Not my thing. What makes Outlander work, for me anyway, is that element of time travel, the heroine is from 20th century with a modern woman's sensibilities. The juxtaposition of the modern woman with the 18th century man keeps it from sinking into cliché.
