What am I going to read next? I need someone to convince me to start the Gravity series... seems like it might be different from all the other stuff I've been reading with mercward! Is the series complete? and is it lemony? LOL is it a page turner? I want something I won't be able to put down. Or maybe a really good vampward? I have these three on my short TBR:Taste of Innocence - Nolebucgrl Vampire in the Basement - michellephants Hide and Drink - Savage7289Isn't Vampire in the Basement one of those must read fanfics from way back when? I see it on lots of peoples top fics lists but the summary just never catches my attention.
Oh you sooo have to start the Gracity Series. Mercward, stutterward, pilotward , Dadward, just OMG it was a great series. lemony but Not overly so I think. You will not want to put the series down. Cave to peer pressure, READ IT READ IT READ IT..

Hi ladies,I might not be around much for the next week as am going on a trip. Not sure if there is free wifi at my hotel. Tricklem, i will not be able to start my road to losing weight yet. But i will try minimize my pigging out, not because of will power but because of the cost Right now, debating what book or fanfic i will start to read. Finished R.K. Lilley's The Wild Side series and it was just so so. Don't rush to read it. Off now to try to catch 4 hours sleep before i need to leave for the airport for a friggin early flight.Take care ladies!
I finished Diva Diaries and absolutely loved it. I've heard people recommend that one many times but never got around to reading it. I'm so glad I saved it. Was a very pleasant surprise after reading some things recently that were just ok. Now I'm wondering what other hidden gems I have waiting in my TBR list. I know I've already said it, but the way KiyaRaven did the back and forth timeline and B&E's trust issues etc. It was really really good. She's a wonderful writer.I'm laughing at the bit about them falling off a cliff! I was nearly at the end of Diva Diaries and I saw that and for a second though "oh hell no!" then I realized Demaris was most likely kidding. limomx2 - I always ask that HEA question too! I need to know what I'm in for. I guess the trouble is HEAs are subjective. I've actually come to thing of Dusty as a happy ending... just not a traditional one. I can't form an opinion on the first 3 Outlander books anymore because I'm swayed by the fact that I ended up getting bored at around book 5 and not finishing the series. If there had been only 3, then maybe I would think it was up there with TBH. Nothing can ever touch what I felt for Tatiana and Alexander in The Bronze Horseman series. Well, I can only dream of the day that something does. LOL That book was amazing. I wish I could force more people to read it so she can have more 5 star reviews on Goodreads!I'm also definitely not a fan of historical romances (or history in general for that matter)... I don't even think I've read one with "bodice ripping". LOL That's why I was so surprised that I liked TBH.
Will miss you, but have a great and safe trip....where are you going btw?
I your gifs
Okay Loopy and Demaris (actually also Tricklem) - want a recommendation for a good author? - try Lucinda Riley. Currently reading The Midnight Rose by her. Irish author. Books start out present day and then switch to backstory taking place during either WWI or WW II depending on the book, then switches back to present day story. then back to backstory. I blame a friend for this rec. Each of the 4 books I've started and the first chapter I kind of go - uh....maybe - and then I get completely hooked. The Lavender Garden (probably my favorite so far - at least with the backstory), Girl on the Cliff, The Orchid House, and Midnight Rose. Neither of us have read The Italian Girl yet - we're waiting for a good used copy to turn up when the price goes down. Lucinda has a new book coming out in the next few months.
Have a wonderful trip and dont do anythign Loopy wouldn't do
bodice ripper as per Urban DictionaryAn historical romance where the heroine has lots of non-consensual sex, which becomes consensual. The book needs to have a gaudy cover with a woman with an extraordinarily long neck, heaving bosoms, and flowing hair, and a brooding man.
Have a fun trip...
That good, huh? This one has been at the top of my list for so long... I should do it. We'll see, I might get distracted by some-other-ward before I find it on my kindle.Which one of drotuno's has an over the top amount of lemons? Was it the Angel series or this one?
Angel series. I am rereading it because I needed something I could put down. And I've reread my Actorwards to the point they aren't fun anymore. This is not to say it is easy to put down the first time you read it. I will say Broken Angel - the first - is my least favorite. But it is more angsty I guess. So you may like it. Mercward is great too, but not as lemony.

Oh god Mercward. Is it wrong I wanna Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
Loopy - If you give Lucinda Riley a go - read Lavender Garden first. When it goes back in time to the grandmother of one of the main characters - she ends up being recruited by the British Government to become a spy for the French resistance in Paris in WWII. My favorite character in this is not one of the main characters - she's one of the side characters who also works for the resistance. She shows up again in Orchid House which starts prior to Lavender Garden and covers the earlier recruiting of this character - whose name I can't remember at the moment - I'm having a senior moment. Oh wait - Venesia. I never thought I'd be interested in Paris during the Nazi occupation. I'm now finding myself keeping an eye open for books along the same line.
*ahahahahaahahahahahahaaa!!! I love it!
NOPE not wrong at all
OMG, that's the funniest description ever. The comment about the extraordinary long neck. We're back onto the topic of boobs there.
To be honest every time I see the words 'historical romance' my mind translates it to Barbara Cartland OK so I know it's bad form to discussion one's mistress with one's wife but this new mistress of my is....interesting. For instance instead of re-reading they say re-kilting and they write in, what I can only assume, they'd classify as 'Scottish' ie. "I canna" "I ken" "give me a wee moment" etc; it's hilarious! There a thread were someone's made a excel spreadsheet of all the sex scene in the series I'm almost grateful Twilight didn't have any! Though regardless of that, I still love you passionately and we're not getting divorced!
