Has anyone read any books by Priscilla West?

Its a series with several books, but Reckless & Fearless are a duo in the series, its kind of split up between 3 different couples. Anyhwo, Reckelss was free, and the cover is yumm-o, so I downloaded it  8)

I really should be working and not drooling over book covers...
Unfortunately Reckless is not free. The free version is only 92 pages or so. The full version is something like 348 pages. So you will still have to buy it.  I really hate bait and switch like that. Also, the initial reviews indicated you have to read both books for the full story.  I tell you what,  I am so tired of these have to buy 3 books at $3.99 each if you want the full story. Don't get me wrong, I love a series. But each story should have a beginning, a middle and an end.  Just in case I'm like Demaris and the first one sucks.  Though I guess you still need to read the rest LOL!

Yeah, you and me both. Which is why I limit my angsty stories.  I usually want to torment and kill the bad guy.  Or just remove a few appendages.  Bwahahahaha >:D
 :-*
Lol, that's the whole point of reading angst.  :P :P :P

I've got to know Priscilla quite well over the last year, she sends me final copies of her books at least 2 weeks before they're released.  :cheer: :cheer:
I'm with you hun, the covers are quite yummy and worth taking your time drooling over.  >:D >:D :D :D
Anyhoo, I like what she's released so far (I'm not saying that cos of the freebies I get either  :P) Reckless is quite angsty but not really angsty enough for me so anyone who doesn't like heavy angst would be okay reading them.  :)

Oh that's good! So? How lucky long til Evan turns up? I don't want to read through a whole Cole/Emma saga to just get back to Evan/Emma...
I'm guessing by now you've finished the book... I'm curious if you liked the way it turned out!  I was a big Evan fan, as you can imagine.

My vote Best Romance and Best Fantasy won this year's Goodread awards. I feel like a proud mama....or the winning author! :D :D But then, just looking at the wealth of books I haven't read bought me up in a rash!  :P
I saw that Rainbow Rowell has a winner this year too called Landline.  I've enjoyed her other books so I'm going to check that one out eventually.  I also want to check out the YA winner called We Were Liars.

LOL!  I love Actorward, I didn't care how wussy he was.  Though I think hanging around Emmett was probably good for him.

It was funny, he had his good moments. But he was not your Alpha male type of other Actorwards. Or other Edwards in general. In a way he was very canon. Because really?  When you read Midnight Sun? Edward can be a little wussy there too.  ;)
You guys are talking about Me & Mr Cullen, right?  I don't think I realized it was an actorward.

ETA: Ohhhhhh... I had it confused with The Elusive Mr Cullen which I have on my DO NOT READ list.  :o

Yep, I've loosened my stance on the need for a picture perfect HEA too so who knows, I might like that one?

The Elusive Mr. Cullen is a great story.  It's just twisted.

And this is from a E/B shipper.

This one just finished up.  It was on hiatus FOREVER.  I read the first few chapters years ago and was intrigued.  I'm so happy she came back and finished it.  I'm looking forward to reading it (parts of it again!)

On the Rob front - he's been nominated for best supporting actor in the Rover by the Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts.   The Rover itself has been nominated for 7 awards in total.  See below.  Also - for those living in the Los Angeles Area - Maps to the Stars will be showing every day for a week at 5 pm at one theater in LA - see that info below also.

You mean without a flounce gene? Because if it suck or not you'll still be compelled to read the rest in the series....Unless, and this is something I have recently found, I'm OK if the rest of the series is about other members of the 'group', so as long as the series isn't a continuation of the initial story/characters I can now 'flounce'! It seems that my anti-flounce gene is evolving (I had to read the whole of that stupid Rock Chicks series) who knows it might eventual mean I can actual flounce properly.

I have finished the Breathe series and I enjoyed it the last two books were much better than teh first, I remember my heart sinking when I read teh frist few chapters of the first book thinking, 'Ahhh shit! Another turkey!' but it ended up being better than I thought.

I've downloaded We Where Liars but God know when I'll get to it....but I was so glad that Book of Souls won best fantasy and Written In My Own Blood best romance!!!   Its taking very bit of will power to stop myself from going back to re-reading Outlander all over again.

I absolutely floved The Elusive Mr Cullen. FLOVED it! In my top ten if only for the ending...

First, I have to shout "I'm reading a fic!!!!!"  This fic started in 2010 and recently completed, in the AN the author mentioned a random compilation she was writing a O/S for and, because my fic magpie tendencies have not dimensioned in the months since I read one, I decided to investigate (the author didn't give the compilation's name ) and after scouting away for 15 minutes there it was in FFG's amazing index; what the F*ck did we do before we had that?  FFG, a big  :-*  to you!

Ok, so this isn't related to any stories, it is my RL, but I am bursting to tell about it. I have a 2013 Ford Escape. I have bruised credit and was paying 14.5% interest on the car payments. I have been faithful to my payments for 2 years and I have been approved to trade my Escape in for a brand new 2014 Escape and was approved for .99% interest!! The new one is black with a black interior, and it should be in this week. I am so anxious for it to get here I am vibrating!! Took a pretty good hit with the trade in on my current wheels, but the difference in the interest rate more than makes up for it.

Yes!  If each story is a complete story in itself, if it is horrible you don't have to read the next book because you don't really care what happens to them.  At least hopefully you don't need to read the next one.  :P

Yeah. No. It doesn't work like that...even if it's a complete story per book if there's a continuation of that couple I have to blinking read it till the end.... >:(  i.e Indeath, luckily that series is pretty good but I couldn't stop til I read all 39 books!
