Ok, so this isn't related to any stories, it is my RL, but I am bursting to tell about it. I have a 2013 Ford Escape. I have bruised credit and was paying 14.5% interest on the car payments. I have been faithful to my payments for 2 years and I have been approved to trade my Escape in for a brand new 2014 Escape and was approved for .99% interest!! The new one is black with a black interior, and it should be in this week. I am so anxious for it to get here I am vibrating!! Took a pretty good hit with the trade in on my current wheels, but the difference in the interest rate more than makes up for it.
Congrats hun, sounds like you got a great deal!!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I haven't had a new car in 12 years!!! SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is exciting. I am most excited about the interest rate I was able to qualify for. Hubby and I want to buy our first house next year, and this improvement in my credit is going to go a long way to helping that happen.

I just got a call from the dealership and my new car is HERE! I pick it up Saturday morning. This is going to be a very long few days!!

When I bought my 2013 Ford Escape it was the first time that I have ever had a new car that wasn't used/previously owned. It was a very surreal experience.

Yeah. No. It doesn't work like that...even if it's a complete story per book if there's a continuation of that couple I have to blinking read it till the end.... >:(  i.e Indeath, luckily that series is pretty good but I couldn't stop til I read all 39 books!
I am so glad I've got the flounce gene.  I don't call it flouncing. I just am going to finish it later.  Someday. In 50 years. If I remember.   :D :D :D ;D

Because I've read some really crappy stories that are part of a series.  Though if it is a good story or I like the characters, I will read every book in the series that I can find. ;)

Congrats!

Although I have bought "new" cars (as in never owned but prior year the dealership is trying to get rid of),but I've never had the thrill of ordering my car to get what I wanted.  That is so cool. ;)

I got in on a year end deal with one and they had to bring it in based on what I qualified for. It doesn't have all of my wish list but it is a step.

Hey I think I have a story for UST group. Femme Docs and Kevlar Knights by A_Cullen_Wannabe. I enjoyed reading this. Anyone else read this one?

It's been on my TBR-list since forever, but I always feared the length. Isn't it really long? Did it drag?
I'm reading all the rec's out planetblue's A/Ns in Artful Maneuvers at the moment.
I finished The Cellar by iambeagle and now I'm reading The Teenage Angst Brigade by Jandco.

The Cellar was really funny. A short fic with lots of laugh-out-loud moments. Zero angst, only fun, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I'm very o.k. with short funny fics. I even need them from time to time. I only can't read 500 pages of pure fluff.  ^-^

Boy meets Girl. Girl's friend throws up on Boy's shoes. A story about wannabe hipsters, awkward moments, and soul mates.
Rated: Fiction M - English - Humor/Romance - Bella, Edward - Chapters: 39 - Words: 49,262 - Reviews: 4,138 - Favs: 2,797 - Follows: 1,866 - Updated: Nov 3, 2012 - Published: Nov 13, 2011 - Status: Complete - id: 7546180

The Teenage Angst Brigade is more serious. Interesting plot so far, though not too realistic. But it doesn't matter in this case.
It's in the Index. It might get a place on my all-time-favorite list. We'll see...

Those fics I still have to read after:

A great list for me. Rather short fics I think and very good to hopefully cure my fic-reader's block that comes from time to time after reading too much original fiction. Aaaand the plus side: those fics were all already downloaded in my Calibre so nothing new added. YAY! I'll make a microscopic dent in my fic-list.

After that I'll get back to J. R. Ward and her Fallen Angels series and maybe Lorelei James and her Rough Riders Series and The Bronze Horseman needs finally to be read! And I wanted to re-read Outlander 1 - 3 and go on to the sequels.  :P

I am so jealous..you have some awesome reads ahead of you. I never did finish Honest Liar, I guess that's next. Btw, Artful maneuvers was really good.
I also read The Apartment.....Butter scene omitted....at least I don't remember reading it. This book is certainly a smut fest.
Congrats on the new car. I'm trying to convince the hubby to get me a CTS....don't think its gonna happen.
Thanks for the updates on RP, I always look forward to them
As avid readers, I'm guessing that all our homes look like that pic. Every week I tell myself that I'll do better but, alas, it doesn't......nothing is more exciting than the next good read. I swear, my Xmas gift to myself is a helper to clean my house for 2015.
In the meantime, off to find the next book....no clean house...no make dinner....lol...where's my iPad? Oh yeah, in my hand where it's permanently attached.

Congrats! It sure is exciting to buy a car. I remember ages ago when i was first able to afford to get a loan. Cars here are way more expensive than in the US. Am lucky i work for a bank that gives good benefits. Depending on your rank, they subsidize a portion of the car and give preferential rate for the rest. You are able to have this car plan every 5 years. The downside is the cap amount per rank limits the choice of car you can buy. Still, buying a new car is always a thrill. With the weather here, rust will eventually eat your car so it is wise to change every 8 years when it really starts to conk out or show defects.

I recall i enjoyed this despite the length. It also has action being in the line of work E was in. Do bump it up. And as i am writing this, i am recalling scenes where they sing karaoke and make a contest out of it. For me to remember portions of the story means it made an impact on me so i must have really liked this one  :P :)

i also liked compsem 101. i like this more than femme docs [emoji1]. anyway, both are good reads definitely worth  your while. enjoy!

That's a great of fics you've got to read, they're all pretty good reads but I really enjoyed The Consequence of Miracles and Honest Liar, both good angsty fics.  >:D >:D
Comp Sem 101 is a fic I've read several times and it never gets boring, I just love Edward in that one "Gimme, Gimme!"

I don't have a vibrator, but I have to admit that I have considered getting one.
