I would like to see such a list with new good writers. Let us do it.
Have you read Wide Awake yet? They are young in this one, but to me it's one of the greatest fics out there!
I absolutely require an ExB HEA too, but I read Dusty and was content with the ending. I don't consider it a non-HEA fic. But, some people do... I guess it's up for interpretation. It's not one that leaves you gutted or mentally broken. I feel like it ended on a positive note.
was hoping you liked vamps then I was going to recommend Trippin' Slippin' Tumblestumblin... But since you're ok with college/high school... definitely check out Wide Awake if you haven't read it yet. It's incredible!
really liked Sexy Silk (actorward)! And there is a really popular daddyward, but I'm forgetting the name right now. He's the author of adult books I think? What's taht one called? I still haven't read it.
I haven't read it, because they are younger, same thing goes for High Anxiety I've heard a lot of good things about it I just can't make myself read high school stories. I have read high school fics that I have enjoyed in the past they just don't appeal to me anymore. I think it's because i'm so picky about how believable a story is and a lot of the hs stories are more unbelievable. Thanks so much for the recommendation though. Like I have said all recommendations are welcomed and GREATLY appreciated!! There are few things I dislike more than a fanfic slump and boy am I in one!!
I have read Sexy Silk and I loved it! So good rec.! Lol I think you're referring to Secret Life of E.A. Masen?? Maybe not, but I started reading this one and stopped it just wasn't what I wanted at the time. I think I will for sure go back and finish it!! Thank you SO much for all the recs. They are all greatly appreciated! And anymore you may have would be appreciated too!!
I have to have a HEA where it's some time later they're married and 2.5 kids! Lol I can't do even kind of HEA! I'm not brave enough! I don't think I would be satisfied with the story if I wasn't for sure they got their HEA!! I may have to try Wide Awake since it has now been recommended twice!
I don't mind HS fics, but I couldn't get into High Anxiety. All they seemed to do is sit around, get high, and hint about past problems that seemed kind of overblown. At least Bella's was to me from what I could tell. I didn't stick around long enough to find out Edward's issues. It really just didn't grab me and I have no urge to go back and finish it.
I don't think that Twilight fanfiction is dying, so much as the whole of Twilight fandom has already peaked and is declining. It usually happens when there's still hype surrounding a franchise, and now that all of the books have been released, and all of the movies have come and gone, there's not as much excitement~ for the series. But there are still people that love the story and want to add a bit to the characters. Though I do think that with as many authors that have pulled to publish their stories, we might see more and more people trying to cash in on their ideas. Which is great, but personally, more than half of the P2P stories I've read were so bland I didn't really see the need to publish other than the prospect of earning a little money Last week I was actually going through all of my old Harry Potter fanfiction bookmarks and found a HUGE post on HP fandom data You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login You can see how the fandom numbers dropped throughout the years ... It's still number one on FF.net, followed by Twilight. To this day it still amazes me just how quickly the Twilight fandom exploded. Back when I stopped reading Twilight fanfiction in late 2009, the FF.net archive was only around 2,000-3,000 stories if I'm remembering correctly. Now it's at 216,000+ Granted that's over a five year period, but still.
And? Even if they stop writing now? My TBR list is so long I will be reading for years.
Um, yeah.....I have a really crappy memory for this stuff. LOL! If I remember eventually, I'll be happy to write it. I've been betaing for Redtini. She's fairly new and I enjoy her stories.
Forgive me Gods of Fiction for I have sinned.....I decided, against my better judgement and FFG warning, to read the final book in the That Man trilogy.....No amount of Hail Marys is gonna help with the blasphemy of L'Amour calling herself a writer, let me tell you. WTF? I wanted to beat Jennifer McCoy into a bloody stump and then set fire to her body...And as for Blake Burn? May he melt in the fires of Crap Romantic Hero Hell. RANT OVER
Now I have a couple reccs so this post isn't completely useless with my opinion
Dude, all opinions have value. Please don't think any post is useless. Feel free to comment or share anything you want here You might not realize it but we all learn something from the people we "meet" here. I really appreciate and thank everyone who has shared themselves with me here. Go ahead, giving opinions, oversharing and crazy talking is welcome and expected here, just as Ella has warned at the top of each page here

Kimkimkim if you must have an HEA for E/B do NOT read The Elusive Mr Cullen. It is not an HEA as most of us would describe it.
I just wanted to give you fair warning. While Wide Awake is a great story, IMO it does not have the HEA you describe you are looking for. The best way to read it is to NOT read the epilogue. The author isn't named Angstgoddess for nothing. lol
LOL, just finished the trilogy and have to agree with you. Don't want to give too negative reviews so i still gave it 3 stars though it deserved a 2.5. I actually really liked book 2 though, it was a 3.5 star for me.FFG was talking about THIS Man, which i haven't downloaded bec i heeded her comment You are not allowed to view links.
