I think an epi still. But it's pretty much done.
Its not til I went back and did a check of my entire library that I realised I've read a hella lot more vamp than I'd first thought....Not as much as AH but still a fair amount . Surely Loopy you've read Grasping Darkness ( and its sequel) by Kiyaraven? And then there's A life Extraordinary by LolaShoes; so many lemons you can barely see straight Both are really sooooo good and right up your street.
I think there's a lot of truth in what the best of the bunch are now published authors and as such no longer have the time or the will to write Twilight fanfiction (can anyone remember last time TeamBella update Pick-up Truck?!).....some members of this fandom have also managed to 'run-off' a number of good writers due to their.....how shall we put it? Aggressive reviewing style? And I do have to agree with you that with no new books/films to spark off the imagination what will become of this fanfiction? If anyone does know of any GOOD 'new' writers maybe we can compile a list?
Forgive me Gods of Fiction for I have sinned.....I decided, against my better judgement and FFG warning, to read the final book in the That Man trilogy.....No amount of Hail Marys is gonna help with the blasphemy of L'Amour calling herself a writer, let me tell you. WTF? I wanted to beat Jennifer McCoy into a bloody stump and then set fire to her body...And as for Blake Burn? May he melt in the fires of Crap Romantic Hero Hell. RANT OVER
Yeah I've read GD, it was actually one of the very first fics I ever read and it was a WIP at the time. I've never got around to reading the sequel though. I keep meaning to read ALE but keep getting distracted, but it's definitely getting bumped up my TBR list now I know there's Lemons galore - you know me so well. I went back and checked when Pick-up Truck was last updated as there are only so many times I can keep reading what has already been wrote and it was 25th September!!!! Mary Elizabeth has said that she will finish it though. Now they've finished editing Dusty I'm hoping that she does it soon. Oh Mrs Fassy, I saw this and thought of you. Are you kidding? Bulges….scale
I know this has had a mixed reaction on here, but it's just completed:So anyway, I just wanted to know if it's worth reading, or should I just put it on my (never-ending) TBR list for a "rainy day" read.

LOL, just finished the trilogy and have to agree with you. Don't want to give too negative reviews so i still gave it 3 stars though it deserved a 2.5. I actually really liked book 2 though, it was a 3.5 star for me.FFG was talking about THIS Man, which i haven't downloaded bec i heeded her comment You are not allowed to view links. I was confused... I thought maybe That Man was the last book of the This Man trilogy. LOL So, not only do I dislike the This Man series, I also really dislike the generic title! I will definitely be sure to remember NOT to read That Man either.
Remind me to never p*ss you off

I don't think Twilight fandom is dying - its just slowed down somewhat. People have left yes but that's normal. Interests change, people end up with crises in their lives, work takes priority, etc. New people are still finding the fandom. Fics on Twilighted that I thought had been abandoned have come back to life recently. Granted its not an avalanche but its progress. Real life just took over for awhile. ..... There are new stories cropping up slowly on Twilighted - unfortunately some of them don't really appeal.
I have been stuck on two stories that are being written right now, well it's three. Council, cygnet, and falling for Acadia. The WriteSisters are good. IMO
Thanks for mentioning this... Wide Awake is probably my second favorite fic now (behind Trippin' Slippin'), but that's only without that epilogue. I liked the way the fic ended, but to me the epilogue was a major downer! I'm going to reread it one of these days without the epilogue in the hopes that I can erase that ending from my mind.
Thank you for recommendation, will read it, summaries are very intriguing
Hello,Sorry , if it is a false place, but is the twilight fanfic dying? In the last time I come across a lot of great fanfic writers who suddenly stop to write, a lot of them in the last year( 2013) and I don't know a lot of the new ones, who just started to write twilight fanfiction. Also a lot of small private blocks with fanfic recommendation are now dead or weren't updated like forever. And as the book-series and the films are over, I am worring about the fate of twilight fanfics. What do you think?K37
