So clearly I missed a few posts, but the snippets Booked put of Driven sound really good. Is it a real book or fiction? And where can I find it?

LOL! It relates to baseball. 3 bases then home plate. Some people skip 3rd base and go straight for home.

When I was younger, I think third may have been below the waist touching. So, kissing, above the waist touching, below the waist touching, and then going all the way. Based on the old method you've been to third base.

And then there's Bernadette on Big Bang Theory. Touching above the waist is 7th base. They gave up trying to explain it

LOL! Yeah, third base threw me too. Only because trying to get guys to do more than touch you below the waist was always pushing it. Of course, they wanted the oral.

I was never so happy to start dating older guys.

DAMN!!! I was kinda hoping it would count as I first saw it in the cinema.

Urghh, it's depressing reading about the bases as they've changed a bit over the years and it makes me realize up until I turned 14 I actually missed out on quite a bit of fun by going straight to 4th base. More than making up for it now though.

Better than the crossfire series? Really? That's saying something....

Re: the Beauty series... I thought it was really good... yep, to me probably better than crossfire. There's one scene that just won me right over for forever and ever! I haven't read the third book though. It felt very much complete to me after book 2. Oh also, the title "Beauty From Pain" makes it sound like a BDSM book... it's totally not!

I thought book 2 was the best from the series... book 3 is good, but sometimes i felt like they added extra unneeded drama just to have enough material for a third book. I think they could have fit it all into two.

i enjoyed the first book. 4 stars. I loved some scenes, specially the one with the bullies and the principal. That was so awesome and nice for those kids!

but, the crossfire series, though with the same formula, is much better than this.

will give the Beauty trilogy a try. I apparently have the 2 books already. Just got the 3rd and final book

Re: Driven... The bully/principal thing was one of my favorite parts too! I liked the foster kid aspect in this book. I thought that made it a little more unique than some of the others. Hmm. I'm not sure whether I like Crossfire or Driven better. That's a toss up for me. I do think I liked the Beauty series better than both. Ok, maybe the same. It's been so long since I've read them that I just only remembered I really enjoyed reading them all.

Is First & Ten in the same level of silly as Aha Shake? While I thought Aha Shake was funny and a great choice to read after downer Dusty, this time I am looking for something more romance/love story than comedy.

In F&T, most of the funny comes from Emmett and Alice. Not the same humor as Aha Shake which I would classify more as crackfic humor. Vjvm wrote similar crackfic stories about the Cullens as vampires. If you want something similar to Aha Shake, I would check out her vamp stuff.

HI I'M relatively new on here I'm missing half my stories from my faves on fanfiction.net I know they've been pulling loads lately can anyone tell me where I can get a list of the ones recently pulled please I'm pulling my hair out

I don't know if anyone tracks what has been pulled. Mostly we figure it out when we go looking for the story and it's gone. If you know the title or author it is likely either in the index or in my Calibre library. I have most of the B/E completed fics from ffnet that are over 20K words and frankly, most completed stuff since January in my Calibre library - link is at the bottom of my posts. All are in epub which is readable on most tablets and is convertible to everything else fairly easy.
