I'm thinking the same thing Bella and Jacob  :sign0137:

Jacob have too much testosterone and he is behaving like a monkey. Not even the real  wolves behave like that.
So I'm not really a fan of Jacob. Jacob is like a vulgar little boy compared to Edward.  :D

:D

The only time that I liked Jacob was in Twilight. I didn't like him after he changed into a shape-shifter. He kept acting like Bella couldn't decide things for herself. He wouldn't stop pushing Bella to be with him, even after she had already chosen Edward. If Bella had chosen Jacob, I don't think Edward would have kept pushing her. That is one of the reasons why I like Edward much better. I also didn't like the part where Jacob forced a kiss on her and Charlie acted like it was all right.

Yes! You'd think a Police Chief would know that forced kisses are assault. But then again I don't think Charlie realized it was against Bella's will so much as that Jake "stole a kiss" which most guys don't see as a bad thing. And some girls when you think about it. LOL! But still it bothered me.  If you love someone, you want them to be happy even if it is without you. Jake never got that until Renesme.

I agree with most of what you both are saying, but how could Charlie have not known it was against Bella's will when she tells him that she broke her hand hitting him for it? I have to admit that I am not a Jacob fan either. I totally agree that if he loved her he would have wanted her to be happy even if it was without him. I also didn't like how back and forth Bella was. I mean she was telling Jacob she didn't feel that way about him, and then later in the series she was saying, ok I love you but I love Edward more. I mean really?

She really did need to say "I love you like a brother" to him a lot sooner.

Okay, I get the movie and book mixed up a bit. But I think it wasn't until "and then she hit me" after the "good for you Jake" that Charlie realized it was against her will.   ;)

I'm currently reading AWhiteBlankPage's Honest Liar, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  I do believe this fic might give me an angst overdoes straight to the heart.  I haven't had one of those since the Big D....BlankPage sure can write, it's brilliant. Don't ask if it's HEA! I haven't finished....and even then, I might not tell.....I'm mean like that   >:D  :D

At last! a twific I can wholeheartedly say I'm floving! Beautifully told, skilfully written and heartbreakingly honest. I've still not finished but it's already gotten 4* from me  :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

I read the last chapter. It is not really a non HEA,  it's just life goes on.  Probably the best HEA you'll get for a story about an addict. They are never "cured" but they can fight it daily. ;)

No need to stay away from this Booked, promise. But I have a thing about revealing the way a story ends, I feel it negates the need for you to bother reading. A good author (and Blank is definitely that) would have spent time weaving a tale thought highs points and lows that lead you to the final climax, I'm doing them (and you) a disservice, if I give the milk away for free.  If the story/writer is shite I don't mind so much  :D :D

Ella! Stop reading the last page, you naughty woman! It's cheating! :D :D  Where in the summary does it say it's a story about an addict? See what I mean about 'milk'?  :P

I totally agree. That is the one thing that ticked me off the most!!!  She was totally leading him on when she knew in her heart, body, and soul that Edward was her everything. Even when he left.  Even giving her the benefit of the doubt if she did not mean to, like Ella said she should have told him she "loved" him like a brother.

Some how I have managed to read real books, with crispy pages and everything, in the past week!  :o The first is a contemporary romance novel that I picked up at the library called Nobody's Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. It's part of a series the revolves around men in football and the women they fall in love with, but it was published in 1997 and I could easily see it as Twilight fanfiction haha. It's set in Chicago, the male protagonist is one of three sons, his parents are still married and his father is a doctor etc. it even has the clichéd plot of trying to get pregnant from a stranger and raising the baby alone.

But now I have to go back and look through all of the real book recommendations I've seen posted on here. One thing that's interesting to me, I look up the reviews for all of the books I've been reading and so many people complained about the first person POV. It doesn't bother me much, only having one perspective but I guess I'm so used to reading fanfiction that it just slips my mind. Do you all have a point of view that you prefer to read?

Long day behind me ... HUH!

I thought it was very surprising that Charlie is not that more react to Bella's forced to kiss.
Police officer, he would indeed have been known, that ( kiss ) it is only a surprisingly short step to something even worse.

Then what if the worst had happened??  :(

Bella's life would have been in tatters and whether Charlie still will not believe that Bella, does not want Jacob to because she loves Edward.

But Charlie believes that Bella and Edward's age are too young have constant for a lifetime last of love.

Next is Counselor's Ex Con and then Patty Rose's Spin & Sway, (both tried and tested favourites) That should keep me going over the weekend  ;D
