:D :D :D So am I! Two heavy angst fics in as many days...Exhausting.  :D

Well, I'd suggest some fluff to relax you, but you're such an angst hoor, you probably would just move on to the next exhausting story.  My Ex-Con isn't really angsty, so you'll have a chance to recover.

She really did need to say "I love you like a brother" to him a lot sooner.

Okay, I get the movie and book mixed up a bit. But I think it wasn't until "and then she hit me" after the "good for you Jake" that Charlie realized it was against her will.   ;)

You are right Ellachanted. She did need to say that to him sooner.

There also might be some on this website:

To see more stories, you would need to go to the bottom of the page and click on previous entries. Not all of them are Edward and Bella stories, but some are.

There is also a story called Our Yellow House by carano on her blog. It is in PDF.

Here is the link:
You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I think it is the 31st story on the page.
Here is a summary for Our Yellow House:
Joined at the hip since kindergarten, Edward and Bella shared it all, and at the age of 22, they were happily married, expecting their first child. But when Bella was 4 months pregnant, she was kidnapped. That was 3 years ago.

There is also a story in the index. It is called In Your World by solostintwilight. It would be in the S section. It is on the second page.
Here is a summary for In Your World:
Bella is running from her life when it takes an unexpected detour, To Amish Country in rural Iowa where she finds sanctuary with a caring family. And meets a man who draws her into his world. Welcome to the world of Amishward.

Ella! Stop reading the last page, you naughty woman! It's cheating! :D :D  Where in the summary does it say it's a story about an addict? See what I mean about 'milk'?  :P
Oops! Sorry, I usually put spoilers under the spoiler tab.  Not that I consider that one really.  You know he has an issue from the summary.  Drinking/drugs/sex/whatever - it is always something....

And I probably won't read it.  Or if I do? I won't remember the ending. Being forgetful has it's advantages!  :D :D :D :D :D

I can read angst, I just tend to find it boring or annoying, depending on how well it's written.  Most of the time, I don't like the characters enough to want to finish the story. And I like an ending. Angst rarely has a good one unless they are all dead at the end. So my head keeps going on and on with it until something else takes it's place.

So really, this is why I prefer non angsty stories.  ;)

I hear you there. I don' t mind some angst but it has to be well written and not feel as if it is being dragged out or just stupid and I have to have my HEA for EXB.

Agreed, angst for the sake of angst is bollocks and very rarely any good. But when it's placed in the hands of someone like Blank or Yellow or Rochelle, you are almost guaranteed a great emotional story written with skill and an attention to story tempo, i.e. just the right about of tension and release....Then? Yeah, I love those! Don't get me wrong though, I love a good laugh as much as the next person and stories like The Real Life of E A Masen are up there in my top fic list; in the end for me the most important thing is good writing, plot and character formation.

Don't hit me,  but I get bored reading most angsty stories. The last Rochelle story I started is still sitting there about a third of the way through. I got bored waiting for something to happen.  I need more movement in my stories. I like a mix of drama, angst and humor for it to be a great story. And some action is good too. Throw a couple lemons in and I'm great.  ;)

  • Hi! I'm Ellachanted and I'm a fanfic-oholic.
So LailaB just updated Faithfully. She also says it's the last regular chapter. So those of you like me who were waiting to read it can pretty much start.  She just has an epilogue or 2 left.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Rockerward. Though I just started it and E & B have the instant attraction thing going on.  So there may be an early I love you thing happening.  And? I kind of read parts of the last couple chapters when she posted to verify it's done enough and it looks like more than a fluffy piece -though there may be some fluffer action going on at some point being as how he's regretting his tight jeans right away! LOL! ;D
